DirectPool.net is a Community Pool giving back to the community by allowing miners to mine Bitcoin, and provide donation support for growing Bitcoin related projects and charitable causes.  This is what sets DirectPool apart from 100% of the mining pool operators in Bitcoin and (Crypto Currency) mining in general. In this guide, you will find out how to get started in mining with KnCMiner on DirectPool, Bitcoin Community Pool.

1 - Register An Account with DirectPool.net
Create a username, password, and PIN (DO NOT LOSE THE PIN Number) or you can't log back into the account. No email is required as of yet. However, the Help/Support via DirectPool.net is second-to-none. There is massive mining support, and guides like this to make sure you find answers quickly.

2 - Create A Worker with DirectPool.net

Enter a worker username and password that will get you started in mining Bitcoin with KnCMiner. (Worker Screenshot below)

Login to your account, and once at the Dashboard, you will be able to see your stats on the pool, the community stats, and other important pieces of information you need to track your mining progress, and community support.  Now you need to create a Worker to connect to your username.

For Example, my username is AJ on the main registration account and my worker I just created is username [1]  conclusion: AJ.1 and my password.

NOTE: You will not be donating to DirectPool UNLESS you set the value in the Donation box of the worker page.  

We encourage all miners to set a donation value; however, it is only optional and not required.

3 - Configure KnCMiner Dashboard or client with your DirectPool settings
The DirectPool's Bitcoin Mining URL is: stratum+tcp://btc.directpool.net:3333   or   btc.directpool.net:3333

Connect this url to your KnCMiner's client or Dashboard setting: Bitcoin Mining Port for DirectPool: 3333

As shown in the picture, enter your Username.Worker and Password in this same section.

I.E:  Username: AJ.1  password: X  (as shown in previous step as an example)

Congrats on setting up your KnCMiner on DirectPool.net -  You should already be connected to DirectPool with your KnCMiner mining for growing Bitcoin, and its related projects to the next level. Validate this visiting your DirectPool Dashboard - You must be logged in first.
