Kraken is starting the movement officially. I'm quoting what Pierre Rochard told CoinDesk:
The Lightning network has matured to a level where it can be used by Kraken. It really comes back to what our users are asking for. They want instant and efficient payment the ability to deposit and withdraw bitcoin without having to wait for confirmations and without high withdraw fee withdrawals.
For those that don't know what is the lightning network should start reading:
Fees will be too high within the next years. It's the only way to face the scalability problem and keep bitcoin as a medium of exchange and not only as investment and store of value.
