I think this was just them trying to manipulate the markets again, because the tariff stuff isn't working anymore. People should be less gullible when reading things that are said or done in public. It seems to me that more and more things are becoming fake and reality is turning into a reality scripted TV show. To answer the thread title too, I don't think he cares at all about Bitcoin or crypto. He wouldn't act in such a radical way if he did, instead he would try to avoid doing things that could harm them.

As long as nobody is going to jail, these kinds of things are going to continue to happen. The problem with the things here is that the law has a high bar for good prosecution. If I am not wrong, unless they can prove that they have made an agreement about these manipulations nothing will happen to them. So they need chat logs or recorded speeches, which as I said is very high. I hope that the markets mature with time on their own, as that will solve this problem without the government. As we can see, some things that worked to manipulate the price of Bitcoin from before like China banning it no longer really work.

Of course. It has always been about the money. To each their own. Now why would Justin Sun be a scammer? Has he defrauded anyone? For what I know, Justin decided to leave the TRON project in the hands of the community. He is no longer involved in it. But if he robbed from investors, then he deserves jail. At least, Sun would be riding off into the sunset with Donald Trump in office.

As for Elon Musk, I think he lost the trust of both Republicans and the crypto community. The man is unpredictable. Last time, he attacked Trump and accused him of being on the Epstein list and even suggested impeachment. He went nuclear, just like VP Vance said. Would you imagine him doing the same in crypto land? Dumping all of his BTC and DOGE because he didn't like the direction they were taking. That would result in a massive crash in market prices. Although, the effects would only be temporary. I'm sure the market will move on from Elon Musk eventually. It should only be a matter of time before this happens. Money talks, so I wouldn't be surprised if another influencer/celebrity with more capital than Musk, manages to manipulate the market to his favor. At least, core Blockchain networks will remain safe from manipulation. As long as they stay decentralized, of course.

Musk is a business man  and what ever he is doing is targeted at increasing his fortune so I believe that musk is going into crypto for the purpose of increasing his wealth catching in on the potentials that crypto offer , musk is one person that understand and love crypto because ad an entrepreneur that he is he quickly spot an opportunity and seize it

Don't think about business people as smart Gods of life. They make a lot of mistakes and stupid decisions all the time, actually many of them are quire stupid people overall. His inability to control himself has done him more harm than good.

What I find odd is that TRX's market price hasn't increased a bit since the announcement. It should've been worth at least $0.50 by now. Anyways, Justin Sun can join the ranks of other wealthy players within the crypto industry.

Meanwhile, Dogecoin investors are waiting for Elon Musk to keep up with his promises by integrating DOGE into X. All I see is a partnership between X Corp and Visa to launch digital payments on X. Promises broken? The crypto community never forgets. We'll see how long will it take before Elon ditches crypto and moves on to other things.

I am slowly believing that he won't create a cryptocurrency since that would come with legal action against him as if he doesn't need anymore reasons to go into court for a memecoin.
I think he will adapt a stablecoin siince it wouldn't come with any legal baggage beind it being politically backed with whichever way he decides to go. USDC, USD1 or TUSD.

Opening a full scale cryptocurrency at this moment would indeed be a risky business to undertake given the aggressive nature of regulators. Musk is a clever guy, and he understands that the right timing is everything. A stable coin is better to him provided he wants something practical and less confrontational and more so this is pegged on a big currency and it is accompanied with a certain sort of partnership and regulatory approval and yeah he has a massive influence in the world of the crypto. He even does not need to issue a coin and by a single tweet he can cause markets to shift. I think when and should he do release something he will do it in a larger ecosystem like X or one of his companies not a meme token.
