That was such an obvious solution to the problem that I can't believe they did not took it. They could have moved the Copa to southern USA states and they would have got:
* much better covid situation
* supporters on stadium
* extra popularization of soccer in USA
* more then ready infrastructure
* no extra tensions between South American teams, wherever you move Copa in South America somebody would get "unfair" advantage and it will result with complaints from their arch rivals

That is 14 of us for now and it should be at least 15 in a couple of days. I see you are new to Superbru so feel free to ask any questions here. Most of us in the pool have couple of seasons worth experience predicting results on Superbru so somebody should be able to provide answers to anything

We got to my projected number of 15 players so I let the thread rest a little before the real stuff starts. We have 4 matches in this match day and I am thinking what to do for mini weekly competition. There is no "derby" game at this stage so maybe we should do something for all the games
* predict 1x2 - but that is close to what we are doing in Superbru
* predict number of goals in the games - could be better solution, but hard to get correctly
* predict the number of booking points as under/over and I'll put margins - this one could be juicy and I am leaning towards this
* I'll probably use time of first goal or first card in Paraguay - Bolivia game as tie breaker since it is the last game in this first bunch of games

According to forum posting rules I believe I will have to open another thread in games and rounds for this. I'll make it so I can delete posts and just nuke all the post from freebie hunters that are not part of this pool. Will post link here so don't worry about missing it.

I don't really understand the format, but I've made it with a 3-4 format because I feel there won't be many cards that come out in the match, but I'm not sure if I should choose 1-2. Lol

Friendly reminder that the Venezuela NT confirmed yesterday that over 12 players in the squad tested positive for covid19 and they had to call 15 new players for today's debut against Brazil ^[1]. Bolivia confirmed 4 positive cases in the squad^[2].

So keep that in mind when making your predictions

@tomahawk9, thanks for sharing news about Venezuela, I wasn't aware about it. Though, probably even with full squad they wouldn't have much chances against Brazil. So, we can expect quite many goals tonight.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to watch Colombia - Ecuador game because it will start too late and it's Monday tomorrow :/. Colombia are favorites, though, I checked H2H results and last time Ecuador won 6:1. How!? Did Colombia missed half of squad because of Covid?

From what I remember the results should be accepted right?
The only benefit of locking it I you would be able to see other locked predictions before the start of the games.
