News of the week 📣

This week, we talked about the advantages of the Polars platform, boasted a strong team, shared our YouTube videos, and recalled the concept of polar tokens — let’s sum up.
🔹 Benefits of the Polars platform
(1) We solved the problem of low liquidity in the prediction markets. We built a system in which liquidity providers add liquidity to a pair of polar tokens instead of events.
(2) Gamification, which makes prediction exhilarating and adds team spirit.
(3) Convenient, user-friendly, and regularly upgraded application
(4) POL governance token holders can control the platform through voting
(5) Arbitrage opportunities
(6) Risks that are manageable
🔹 What is the background of our team?
We have gathered people worldwide with an excellent background: the development of tokenomics, market-making strategies, and their implementation, creation of trading robots for platforms such as Binance Futures, participation in the development of products such as Sora, Polkaswap, CBDC. We are proud that we managed to combine experienced specialists in our project.
🔹 Polar Tokens
White and Black tokens are tokens whose value changes depending on the results of events in the outside world. For example, users of the platform predict the results of sports competitions, political events, changes in the exchange rate, and assume who will win and choose the strategy.
The minimum and standard change in the tokens price is 5%, but the cumulative value of White and Black tokens is always the same; now, it is $1.
🔹 Polars on Youtube
We regularly release videos on YouTube, and here’s what you can view about Polars.

Prediction market research

The prediction market is one of the 12 fields of DeFi. The entire DeFi market is valued at about $4 billion, while the prediction market has 2% - that is about $80 million.

Prediction markets work according to one of the following principles:

the prediction market is such a superstructure over other well-known blockchain networks and uses their cryptocurrency in transactions
prediction markets with their own blockchain and their own currency.

Prediction markets are a kind of information aggregator and make half of the errors compared to traditional methods.

Here are some notable examples of prediction markets:

🔹Augur

Augur is a market built on Ethereum blockchain. It allows users to create and participate in prediction markets for the results of any event, from sports games to elections.

🔹Gnosis

Gnosis aims to provide an open-source infrastructure for prediction markets built on Ethereum. Gnosis developers emphasize that they give access to their platform to any party, even those censored on traditional platforms.

🔹PlotX

PlotX is a prediction market for crypto traders. Its decentralized application allows people to use their skills to predict the future value of digital assets like BTC or Ethereum in the hourly, daily, and weekly markets.

🔹Polkamarkets

It is a DeFi platform on the Polkadot blockchain. Users make a profit predicting the result of specific external events and also create their own events. Streams of events and changes in cryptocurrencies rate can be tracked in the platform application.

🔹Pulse

The platform runs on Flux and NEAR protocols. Platform users can buy governance tokens, which will allow managing community rewards, markets, liquidity, etc.

🔹Prosper

It is a non-custodial, cross-chain prediction market and hedging platform. The platform has a binary model for liquidity provision. The platform also issues its own governance token, allowing to earn and manage the platform’s operation.

Polars differs from other prediction markets in that users add liquidity not to an event but to a pair of polar tokens, whose cumulative value remains unchanged. We have also developed a convenient prediction application that we plan to upgrade and provided opportunities for earning money for different user categories, not just predictors.

Sign up on the platform and predict with Polars.

News of the week🚀

This week we talked about Polars friends, shared the pre-sale success, described the prediction market in figures, and spoke about the present and future functions of the POL token. Let`s sum up.

Polars friends

These are active community members who help us in our work: they answer questions from other users, identify bugs, inform us about scammers, and sometimes replace admins in our communities. We reward these users for making the platform work better.

Pre-sale statistics

2718 people participated in testers pre-sale, 5,559,562 POL sold!🔥

Tokenomics update: staking program launch🚀

We recently launched a staking program with 181% APY!💥

To take part in the program, you need to have POL tokens and place them in a staking smart contract at the links:

Ethereum https://eth.polars.io/

Binance Smart Chain https://bsc.polars.io/

The placed tokens are blocked for one month. The user receives an income of 0.3% in POL tokens every day, while the reward tokens are not blocked.✔

Staking is launched on Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain platforms.

On Ethereum, the staking smart contract is valid from June 11 to July 10, on Binance Smart Chain from June 14 to July 15.

You may place tokens in a smart contract at any time.
We will also launch automatic staking on the same terms for the members of the pre-sale.
Earn every day. Earn already now with Polars.📈

Choose your role in Polars💥

Polars offers various opportunities to earn. The user's income depends on the role on the platform.

🚀Liquidity Provider

Up to 50% of the platform's commission is distributed among liquidity providers. They place White and Black tokens in the liquidity or trading pool and receive LP tokens in return. Liquidity providers can place LP tokens in a farming smart contract and receive additional rewards in POL tokens.

🚀Bettor/trader

The user can buy White or Black tokens, make predictions, and earn on the change in the price of polar tokens after the end of each event. There are several strategies of behavior: buy, sell, hold. It depends on the user's vision of future token price changes.

🚀Arbitrator
After each event, the price of Black and White tokens in all trading pools is different until it comes in line with the fixed price, creating arbitrage opportunities, allowing arbitrators to earn on the change in the price of tokens.

🚀Market Maker
We reward market creators for trading activity, giving them POL tokens. The larger the trading volume, the higher the reward.

🚀POL Holder
30% of the platform's commissions are proportionally distributed between governance tokens holders, depending on the number of tokens they possess. Holders take part in the voting and receive rewards in POL tokens in return. Besides, they can take part in the staking program at a 0.3% yield per day.

Increasing liquidity with Polars

Remember, we managed to solve the low liquidity problem? Now we want to tell you how we are going to increase liquidity.

Users of the Polars platform add liquidity to not an external event but to a pair of tokens called Black and White. Since their cumulative value is always the same and only increases with the trading volume growth, the liquidity provider does not care about the way events develop and end since he makes money in any case, and besides, the income grows as the user takes active participation on the platform. Therefore, the user who adds liquidity to the Liquid pool does not bear any risks.💥

📌On the contrary, working with the Trade pool bears some risks. So, to motivate liquidity providers, we made the Trade pool 1,5 faster than farming in the Liquidity Pool.

Polars was intended as a multichain platform. Our platform allows switching between Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Matic, Polkadot, and other networks. In addition, we will provide the opportunity to run an unlimited number of Trade pool and Liquid pool pairs for each particular type of event🐱‍🏍.

As liquidity grows, your income increases as well, together with Polars!💰🤝

📈Prediction market research📈

Prediction markets are part of DeFi. There are 12 directions in DeFi, and prediction markets occupy 2% in decentralized finance.

💰The volume of funds locked on DeFi is $63.48 billion, therefore, $1.269 billion funds are locked in the prediction markets💰

Augur, Gnosis, Omen, Stox, Delphy - these are big players in prediction markets.

Augur is the first decentralized prediction marketplace. It offers three types of events:

🔷binary - with two options for the result of an event
🔷categorical - many options of how the event ends
🔷scalar - a spectrum of numerical outcomes.

Also, Augur allows users to create prediction markets.

Polars is different from other prediction markets because here users add liquidity not to an event but to a pair of polar tokens, so it doesn't matter if they bet on the next US president or a local hockey team match - all events are interesting and of high liquidity.

🔺Types of prediction markets

What are the types of prediction markets?

📈Reputation-based markets

Such markets don't involve betting real money but rather add to or subtract from a predictor's reputation points. Studies show that real-money prediction markets are significantly more accurate than reputation-based markets.

📈Combinatorial prediction markets

Market players manage an entire combinatorial space of forecasts.

📈Election prediction market

Such markets imply bets placed on the outcome of the political election. Such markets are very good at reflecting all available information, often reflecting information faster than opinion polls.
