I agree that it's a double edged sword, and that depending on how you use it, the volatility will help you make a profit or big losses. Don't think that volatility won't screw you over, it makes you let your guard down which ends up with you having making lackadaisical decision which leads to big losses.

For me the main reason why I choose btc investment over other investments is because I am interested in this volatile crypto market, and it will be profitable if I can store it well. Moreover it is true that we can have complete control over our assets. So the results that will be obtained depend on how we manage it. Btc is also currently recognized and accepted by many countries, so that's good, we can freely invest in it without fear of bans. Therefore, while btc is still acceptable and the prospects are still good, then we must also be able to use and manage it well so that we also get the desired results.

There is still some risk of devaluation but since it is not tied to the dollar that is susceptible to hyperinflation, not to mention the fact that bitcoins and cryptocurrencies with limited supply aren't subject to inflation, we only feel this devaluations when the price of bitcoin dumps. All of the things you just mentioned are indeed sound reasons to invest in bitcoin, but before anyone who isn't aware of what bitcoin really is about misconstrue this venture as a get-rich-quick scheme, there should be a clear distinction on the negatives of bitcoin investing as well, just to level the playing field and ensure that everyone who would invest in this coin will have no regrets and be surprised per se. Volatility indeed works well both ways. Although of course this works best if you are shorting an asset. Bitcoin holders on the other hand aren't really a fan of the volatility that bitcoin has to offer since it makes investing really risky and sometimes dangerous especially if they are investing something they cannot afford to lose which they shouldn't anyway in the first place.

Losses do exist in crypto, imagine getting a loan against your house and you are hoping for price to remain bullish and you bought the coins when it was at $60000 by now you would be feeling the pressure as price isnt moving in your direction as it's over 30% down. If this carries on long term you would be making a loss.

Buying and selling as a hodler is easy but to realize profits this takes time.

Those are good reasons you stated, but it's not all I guess. Another factor that really really make people want to invest in bitcoin is because its value and price. We have heard many people getting rich because of bitcoin, and don't tell me that I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure a lot of new investors came to this cryptocurrency world because they want to experience the same thing. Because they've heard that many people get rich from bitcoin, and that bitcoin is such a good investment. People want that profit as well, and bitcoin sure is such a great investment choice, so why not?

We do have those common impression but we should always remember that invest on the amount that you could only afford to lose.We dont know on what would happen next in the market neither bitcoin would retain

its spot or would be replaced by something new.Basing off with the tech then its undeniable that it is already bit off compared to other projects.

Its always up to someones choice though on which one they would particularly put their money on since we do have different reasoning into your mind which we should respect out.
