We've had the lightning network for a while if you haven't covered it - a bitcoin blockchain enforced instant payment system (it takes seconds to transact bitcoin across the world but I think it's still fairly emergent/considered insecure because it hasn't proven itself).

Bitcoin's price is doing relatively well considering... Especially since the start of the pandemic last year.

I think there are also a few platforms testing decentralised futures but I'm not sure how well they're doing.
