I thought that this thread was actually
one that was been running for over a year now (its not). Although it bears the same topic, theres some wiggle room to place the current thread in the "need to plan" scenario, whilst the other thread is in the scenario of the event being abrupt, with no time to plan anything thats not already been planned.
Between both threads, there should be enough to at least reflect on what could and/or should be done, bearing in mind each ones own wallet topology and personal environment. Going the extra mile, and actually depicting the plan, informing those who need to be informed of what they need to know, and even testing the plan (contingency plans should be tested if possible) is whats likely a compromise that is not carried out as much as it should.
