yeah, I'd rather educate them and point them in the right direction, then just give them some money. But that knowlage is a far more deeper hole, it should start with general financial knowlage and money handling, because without that, I might as well throw money out the window.
Exactly what I thought, if you want to give a gift to someone, you should know what they want or what would they do if they have Bitcoin because Bitcoin nowadays is too valuable especially in the future. If you want to educate someone make sure it won't go to waste because not everyone is worthy to teach so you should test the water first if someone is willing to learn some knowledge that you are about to share with them.
For me, why send Bitcoin if they don't know about it? It would be a hassle to spoon feed someone and at the end it turns out they lost it or they just sell it even if the price is cheap, which means that they really need a money and not an investment.
