How much time was alloted to you and will this be a one time talk? Good luck squeezing bitcoin, nft, defi, and metaverse in one event. You should expect your audience to have a hard time taking all that. Make sure to keep them engaged.
Usually the average would be 2 hours just like in my past talks before the pandemic began (with breaks of course). Yes I will let them be engaged by participating or asking questions, and Ive already done that before to make them active and excited.
Im not planning for this to be a one-time event. Because I want to keep the momentum and excitement ongoing. Like in the first meeting, I can discuss generally about Bitcoin, crypto, DeFi, NFTs, metaverse, etc. In sequels, I can go deeper either they want to learn the basics of cryptocurrency trading, participating in airdrops, P2Es, etc., that is if they are demanding some more, or I can create a specific workshop for them.
In 2018, when I traveled to another city by fastcraft, I hosted a small group of people where we discussed generally about cryptocurrencies, trading, etc., for 6 hours (3 hours in the morning, 3 in the afternoon with lunch break). While I am the one paying for the venue, the small group treated me for lunch. But at the end of the day, they wanted more from me like airdrops, earning methods, etc., before I head off back to my city for another fastcraft trip. So I get back them a week later for a sequel which is another 6 hours. Its kind of a workshop series actually.
Im having fun doing that even if its coming from my own expense and without sponsors. The community themselves had something in return like treating me for food and drinks, etc. I remembered those days, so hopefully this Omicron isnt going to be a threat even if its the more contagious new variant that was spreading in the UK now.
