Watching the German basketball team, I have to say that they are playing a really good tournament. They deserve the medal for their performance and will be a tough challenge for (probably) Canada.
I missed that game, but I watched Serbia-Australia. What a drama, at one point Serbs were -24 (iirc), managed to come back and somehow won the game in the extra time which will give them a chance for a bronze meal as their chances next game vs USA are minimal.
Germany won World cup in 2023 so it was predictable for me that they would play better than others.
Not saying that I didn't expect Germans to perform good and to be a medal contender, but basketball world cup and olympics basketball tournament are two different things.
OK so this medal tally thing is screwing with me head.
Same here. I was waiting until now to submit, but I doubt that I gain anything as I didn't see much changed since yesterday and I really couldn't bother to do some deep research on how many more gold medals could each country win.
