There wasn't a classic accepted users post, but there was my post with all accepted users sorted into respective leagues. Those were graphics but I again tagged all of you inside that post.

Sign ups are permanently opened so spread the word and we want more players. More players means bigger rewards, larger leagues and more fun. New players enter into third league and more of you in lower leagues gets promoted next season. So win-win for everyone.

I still haven't got one right lol 0/5 counting question number 6 out thanks to Benfica winning 2-0. My tennis prediction is also half dead with Rublev eliminated early by De Minaur.  

The only good thing going for me is that my opponent is only 1 point up but there's not much difference in the last four questions so a draw would be the best case for me.  

Damn! Another question I got wrong. But I guess it will be very little correct answers to the first question as there is a lot of options. Thankfully I got off to a good start with 2 points on third and fourth question. DireWolfM14 and I answered most of the questions totally different so I guess it's will be a battle to the very end

Ah, that good. I misread the question and thought that in the first question we get one point for each correct answer. For example, if Tsitsipas is the finalist and looses, everyone who answered him to be one of the finalists gets one point. I guess I need to read more carefully in the future

wasn't aware of the late submissions, and after reading thread, I have to say that I think there is some (not much, but some) "unfair (not sure how to call it)" advantage in submission answers after spreadsheet is already live
basically, you can see answers from your opponent, and decide on that (cannot be sure that you will guess it right, but it is an edge certainly)

since I am involved in this (my pair), I have to say that I am speaking generally, and do not want to speak about this round, but when spreadsheet is live, there should be no more submission, you could keep the spreadsheet as closed, if you want to have extended deadline for submissions

nevertheless, I will accept it as it is

first of all, I will accept whatever, it is what it is, feels bad, but cannot be changed

not sure how to call this "advantage", but we play different pools here, in Superbru, KickTipp, FPL, also UEFA/FIFA, and neither will allow you to see opponent picks before lock yours or deadline pass (no matter how late you are and do you have any chance), at least as I am aware, so there is definitely something in that

and regarding last sentence, IMO, you should reveal only picks from already pass deadlines questions, that is what above mentioned apps do, and could be seen as a standard

The picks ARE locked. The only questions we asked were for answers that weren't clear, when somebody inserted more clubs etc. We were careful that these did not change by much, so you could not pick another players or teams - you could just clarify what you meant.

This is a new competition and your inputs are welcome - please share them. It is a bit more complex than usual and it will take us some time to be able to predict everything.
The last thing we want is that people feel cheated or something like that.

Considering the picks hiding - we're using Excel sheets. It is modifiable (only by us, but still), therefore it has to be public. If it is not, we are risking that somebody tells us that we changed some answers by ourselves.
That is the reason why we can't show the picks after the games end.

I feel that what I offered is a good way forward and we'll test it like that in the future. Punishing a player who forgets to insert the questions for the 1st game or 2 with an insta-loss for the whole round is a bit extreme and we won't be going down that road.

I somewhat agree with casperBGD but I'm not sure what can be done. To me it looks like there are two choices. Either the whole table will be hidden until the deadline for the answers passes, but then someone can question the transparency of the whole competition. In that case anyone can say that he gave a different answer than what's in the spreadsheet.
The other choice is to leave it as it is. I think that the World Cup competition was organized in the way that everyone could see other player's answers as soon as they were given. I think that's OK too because to me, transparency is more important than the possibility that the opponent gets a small advantage because he saw my answers.
