This season it was actually ok from that point of view since everyone who applied for BSFL got their place (except 2 profiles that were in one case brand new and the other had like 5 posts in 7 years).

That is why we plan to limit BSFL to current amount of participants to create a bit of FOMO factor. Div 4 is free to enter and people just don't get it as serious as in higher divisions. When you look missed deadline stats over the season it clearly shows that lower the division more missed deadlines. So far we had to just accept that Div 4 will be a bit more affected by this but if we limit places and we have actual relegation from Div 4...I believe it will do a lot to improve qoulity in Div 4.

Of course if we get a lot of new participants than we will have to create Div 5 or something else. Anyway keeping a close eye on situation and registrations and then we will made the decision. BSFL has grown each season so far and we have big plans for the future as well. I would advise anyone to take it seriously and rank as high up as possible

I've got the advantage here; at best, you can scrape a draw, and I don't mean to brag, but I seriously doubt you'll even manage that. Anyway, regardless of the result, starting with a 5-star SD isn't a bad way to kick things off.

On other ideas: I think with all the new teams (my Div3) this season, promotion is going to be tough. It was definitely easier last season... I think!
