Young people are more interested in meme cryptos like DOGE, SHIB, and now PEPE. I think they choose altcoins in terms of quick profits or some frivolous idea.
How do you know young people prefer to buy meme coins? Do you make own research?
TBH, I have no idea which coins young people prefer to choose. But in my country, Bitcoin is the most popular coin, the popularity of altcoins isn't as well as Bitcoin. Moreover, there were many scam altcoins, people are a bit afraid to buy altcoins.
The hype of Doge, SHIB, or other meme coins is over already. Since many people lost big money on these coins, they are no longer the favorite coins to buy.

That may depend on the region or country. In my country, altcoins and memes get more investor interest than bitcoin. Scams in altcoins abound, but there are also many projects that offer quick returns, so it still attracts a lot of investors willing to take risks.
You may not be following the meme market these days, AIdoge, PEPE, Bob...lots of other memes are taking the market by storm, and many people are rushing to invest in them. I don't see any signs that the meme hype is over.
BTC, on the other hand, is of interest to more mature investors who want to preserve their capital or make a profit in the long run.
Sure. Bitcoin is safer and most appropriate to hold for a long time. That's why Bitcoin is always the main coin to hold for any investor.
No one denies this, bitcoin has always been the most reliable and worthwhile long-term investment. But many people like to take risks, so they are still willing to invest in altcoins, memes...Everyone's preferences are different.
