I think that's a good thing. And for the record, as far as I know there is no prohibition for employers to make t-shirts with various logos and that doesn't make someone commit a crime with that logo. Except for logos related to rebellion or terrorism. That's funny right? 

At my place a lot of people wear t-shirts with the logos of FBI, SWAT, Metal, Free Speech, and also logos of cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, BNB and SOL (which I have found) and have no problem with that. Note that as long as there are no words that invite people to do something that is prohibited by the state, such as wearing BTC clothes, then add the words "Let's Buy BTC and don't listen to what the Government has said" 

As long as Bitcoin is fully legal in his country, then this is a good business to have because people there must have known Bitcoin or is a solid fan of it. Like me, I am also hunting for Bitcoin merchandise in my local but it's unfortunate that there are no stores nearby that offer it.

I guess that is because I am on a place which are far away from the big city and maybe there is only less people here who know about Bitcoin. Influencers are usually being paid to promote a product so I don't think his friends voluntarily be doing it but the OP can always pay them in order to promote his business. Doing this also benefits Bitcoin as it makes people curious about the logo or the name Bitcoin.

Influencers are usually paid by shitcoin owners to promote their token or coin, but if you are promoting BTC you aren't going to get paid by anyone, BTC is decentralized and none of its developers is going to hire you to promote BTC, its use cases is all the promotion that BTC needs. Contributing to the BTC network is voluntary, even the thousands of nodes all around the world who run the BTC client do so for free and without any payment, that it why the network is great.

Having a huge logo of BTC on a t-shirt would not necessarily create awareness about BTC when the people are not properly educates about what the logo is about.
While his initiative is quite laudible, it is imperative that those his intending customers are educated about BTC so they can make informed decisions about BTC.

I would just be careful with some sayings on the T-shirts, like "hold Bitcoin, retire early" or "mine your own Bitcoin", because this can be spotted as misleading propaganda. We have to be careful to not give false expectations to other people, as we can't guarantee they are going to retire early if they invest in BTC, since the cryptocurrency is highly volatile on both directions. Moreover, most adopters aren't going to mine their own BTCs, because it's an expensive activity which demands high investment and appropriate infrastructure.

Anyway, it's great to see Bitcoin is being promoted even inside countries where it's still frowned up by authorities.

Relying solely on the logo sometimes goes nowhere, it takes some appropriate emphasis to really grab attention especially in offensive environments, although you should only allow a small space for the logo itself. In my environment, humorous writing attracts more young people.

This is a good idea because in some countries that do not allow bitcoin, selling T-shirts with the Bitcoin logo for fiat currency will not directly violate any regulations. This is just a normal exchange and trade of goods, so there is nothing to worry about. The purpose is both to make a profit and to advertise and raise awareness among people who know about cryptocurrencies. Get people to recognize crypto as a future trend leader. This is a positive thing and needs to be pushed further by everyone.

You are kind of right, influencers are always being paid just to run advertisement for them, but am sure nobody will pay any influencer to advertise bitcoin. The only thing I think the influencer is trying to do is to make money, after producing t-shirts that bitcoin is printed on it, then he will sell it and make his money, so am sure the influencer cares about the money he will make after producing the t-shirt, so that’s why he is marketing the t-shirt. But I believe he should be careful since bitcoin is illegal in the country, so that he won’t be landed in trouble.

It is nice idea seeing people taking their time to promote Bitcoin, but I can't really say that the person selling the T-shirt with the Bitcoin logo on it is doing it with that Bitcoin best interests in mind. After all, a logo alone won't help people understand Bitcoin existence because many people view images on clothing and other objects as common thing.Therefore, it is difficult for people to understand information from merely photographs unless they have prior knowledge of the topic, yet some people can still comprehend and request additional information about Bitcoin if they noticed the logo.


If that is the case, then I would suggest that using this approach of T-shirt sales to raise awareness is a great idea, but it has to be redesigned so it can add a few little words in such away people can quickly notice the existence and found way to do their own research.Although the existence of Bitcoin is nothing new, raising awareness of it can only help it receive greater attention.

Indeed, it’s a great initiative for an influencer to promote bitcoin awareness to the public knowing that bitcoin is not well acknowledged in your country. However, that will also put his life into danger knowing the public will know eventually that he’s into bitcoin and might have probably huge amount of bitcoin hodlings in his own account. I just hope that he should be more careful and be more responsible on managing his investment since people are now eyeing on him because of his bitcoin wealth.
