That's actually good to share your experience than convincing him. Since if you can't even convince yourself how would you do well in this industry which rely on your own decisions and knowledge? It would be hard to survive or even profit if you're relying to anyone's opinion then that would be a wrong call. Everyone has their own skills and techniques which doesn't apply to anyone maybe you could gather information which can be used for your own plan. Well that's a good way to have an extra money for you to invest in crypto industry, there's no doubt that you're good in handling money when you have a lot of sources of money in the first place plus the environment you're in.
