This is nice to see that you quoted the ops to make his image visible, and from the look of things the ops will have to wait till after the halving and when the bull run comes before being able to make any profits that can help him in buying his dream bike as he stated, and more so is obvious that no one know the right time that this round of the bull run will come after the halving in rhe Bitcoin network but sure that we will likely to experience bull rin in 2024-2025 so holding bitcoin any time befor this period will yield the holder a significant profits when that happens.

You are right and the OP did plan and make the right choice because Bitcoin will definitely make that happen, and what I like about the OP is his goal of owning a motorbike. Because if investing has a goal that you have dreamed of for a long time then that will be a motivation and you will be serious about doing it and you just need to be patient to make it happen.
However, if the OP believes or waits for the halving to come and as everyone expects, it would be better if he continues to do periodic purchases or DCA after investing $750. And make purchases according to your ability, even in small amounts, because with this plan OP can realize his motorbike and other goals after the halving comes and you have to be patient.

Well, for sure if you continue to invest in cryptocurrency or Bitcoin you can easily get your dream bike, I mean I personally did it myself, I did buy my first bike using my Bitcoin investment, and these moments I'm already planning to upgrade buying my second bike which is more expensive than my first bike, For sure most of the people are going to say that it is just material things something like that but it doesnt matter since it's an investment and the goal here is to make a profit, when you make a profit there's a reason for that and for some people its there dream bike. So I believe you could easily achieve your dream bike, there is no guarantee that the market price is already going to skyrocket in the coming Bitcoin halving event, but if you can hold long term and just dont sell your investment at a lower price your still going to make a profit on it. So just be patient and continue to HODL your Bitcoin until the Bull Run.

If you could DCA and accumulate more Bitcoin hold for years it is possible that you could even buy a bike that is even better probably a 1000cc bike already, but as long as you sell at a profit it's still great because this is a risky investment so there was no guarantee that the price is gonna continue to pump, so its always great to take profit from time to time.

OP, you have made a wise decision here, since you know too well that $750 wouldn't be enough to buy you your dream bike, so you decided to buy bitcoin with it in other to double up your capital. We are all expecting the halving that will lead to a bull run, and by then bitcoin price will skyrocket. You should have a target price that you will be willing to sell your bitcoin, in order for you to buy your bike, because nobody knows what will be the ATH of bitcoin in the next bull run. Don't expect too much from bitcoin but I believe you can double your capital and with that, your dream will come true.

I don't think it's a wise decision, the @OP literally use all of his money to fulfill his dream, so whenever Bitcoin price increase into certain price and make him able to buy his dream bikes, this mean he will not have any money anymore.

As we know bikes is a depreciated stuff, the price will keep decrease even you're not regularly use it.

I hope you remain consistent with your plan @OP, I mean is that the growth in the value of your investment won't tempt you to wait for even bigger profits (your new hobby).
What you have to remember is that Bitcoin has no top price limit which makes it difficult for you to make the decision to realize your investment profits.

OP stated that he save the money from his salary, it means he has a source of income. Spending the money he save for his dream bike means that he will not have a money, as long as he have a stable job, he will still have a money. The important thing is he have made a decision to make his money to grow. Not just by letting it to deposit in a bank ang wait until he save enough money to buy the bike. The price of the bike may depreciate, but it is still an asset depends on how you use it. If he will use it to go to work, then he will save some time and money compared to public transportation.
He has a goal, and he has a plan. That is the most important thing. It is wise enough not to rush on buying the bike without any plan.

The bike for personal use is a liability that the only thing it does is to lose value. Investing in Bitcoin until you double your money to spend it on a liability whose value depreciates and will end up being 0 is bullshit from a personal finance point of view.


Of course, it's very important that he's got some sort of a bullshit plan in which Bitcoin isn't a very important part of it either.

What problem do you hope to solve with the bike? Is the bike well built for the job, or Is it the right bike to do the job without much issues? How about its user, can he/she also do the job well with the bike?
How important is the solution to the problem, by the way? Does the solution help you alone or more people? The more people it helps the better, else the more you should consider using the money for something good and more profitable.  Maybe consider holding the money longer in Bitcoin and learn to multiply it further with good investment strategies. Or use it for other good investment or business that's as/more profitable compared to Bitcoin.

I don't think it's a good idea to invest so much in Bitcoin only to aquire something less important/valuable with the profit you made. I would rather give that profit to someone who will use it profitably, especially to the benefit of a "circular Bitcoin economy"
