Since I'm all in on Bitcoin, I will always recommend Bitcoin. The reason is simple, with Bitcoin, you will not have the fear of terrible sharp practices that is prevalent with shitcoins. You will not have the experience of LUNA and you will be dealing on the currency with highest liquidity and acceptance.  Apart from that, the growth is sure and there are many fundamentals lined up to push the price higher. This is indeed the best time to buy Bitcoin.

OP, based on my calculation, $1500 worth of BTC is about 0.042 bitcoin. If you acquire that value of Bitcoin now and during the bull season, when Bitcoin hits $100k, you will likely make a profit of about $2.5k.
