You are obviously not a newbie mate and all you have said is totally true. But I see no reason why you should create another account to speck up. You shouldn't be scared to give a positive suggestion here on the forum.

There have being some merit source applications by some of our most active members on the Nigeria local board

The truth is we really wish that they are accepted soon enough so that there will be enough merits circulating in the local board. For now, we have @CryptopreneurBrainboss  who is doing his best to make sure some quality posts are awarded merits. Also, we are thanking @ hugeBlack for his thread which has being of help to all local board here on the forum. We hope that the admin approves us a merit Source soon, so more quality post will be awarded.

It’s weird that a newbie’s first post on the forum is a merit source request for his local board. It’s even more strange that you registered this account today at 2:33pm and in less than 3 hours, you have gained so much knowledge of the forum….even the right board to post such request. I don’t believe this is a newbie account, having multiple accounts is not against the rules so I don’t understand why people have to cook up bull stories to disguise their alt account.

Hey where did you just woke-up to start talking about merits sources and not merits source have you asked question within our local board to know if there is no merits sources there? Between you just registered account today and you start bumping about merits sources without you having deep knowledge about how the forum works. This is to show that there is something phishy because a newbie who doesn't have any knowledge of this forum can't just make account today to start talking about merits and its source.



Here the suspicion comes

You are wrong here as Nigerian local board do have some merit sources but my question to you is that even if your local board has merit sources does not mean that you will get free merits. You need to post worthy of a merit and then the merit sources may award you with merits. ? Just having a merit source in your local board does not mean that you will get rain of merits.

Also if you're posts are good, and your local board does not have a merit source, you will still get merits by individuals. Also if you post outside the local board you can gain merits too so this is not an excuse to not get merits because of the lack of merit sources in the local board.

How do you know whether you have a merit source or not? There aren't threads on local boards to check who is merit source or not and there is no way newbie knows about merit sources or even more.

Is Theymos a vampire? Why should someone be scared to contact him via PM or touch any sensitive topic? I don't think it's okay if you are so scared to ask anything from your account that you create alt account but it's even worse when someone creates alt account and claims it's a completely newbie account.

No legit newbie will care about merit, let alone lack of merit sources in the forum after few hours of browsing. Instead of posting this with your alt account, you should have used your main and bump one of the older threads as you are not doing any favors to your local boart by doing this.

If you are a beginner, you will often be asked about a specific thing or specific content, and if you are just watching the forum, you will not complain about merits, which members who are active here often complain about, especially those who want to join signature campaigns. I have logged in to dozens of forums in order to learn something new, but the forums that I was active in it and it was the only one in which I shared opinions far from the purpose of the forum.There is no shame in asking with your main account, but you must provide evidence proving that your local board does not obtain enough merits.

@Rikafip can give us an analytical view, but through my weekly visits to that LB and the presence of a merit source, I believe that the minimum limits of merit ^* are met.
Adding more sources would be good, but there is no need to complain at the moment.

Our LB(Pilipinas doesn’t any merit source either but we are still active in there for local discussion even though merit distribution is not that high compared to the traffic we are giving to the forum.

Your board has a lot of merit sharing activities which I’m not sure the need for the urgency on merit source while most of the user on your LB has no problem distributing merits without any source.

But I hope @Theymos will pick by himself a merit source one per local board just like what he did on the first merit source that he choose during the introduction of merit since merit source application is very hard to be approved these days.
