Appealing the ban on the
dobbscoin account.
BtcBob (account operator) was locked around the same time and is included in this request.
Project: Dobbscoin (BOB) a scrypt-PoW altcoin live on its own chain since January 2014. The dobbscoin account is the OP-edit owner of the (BOB) Dobbscoin ANN at topic 792459, and the ANN urgently needs editing three consensus-level hardforks shipped in the past 30 days that the current OP does not reflect.
Ban reason as best understood: Per regulars in
the unlock-request thread, the issue identified is a slack/SubGenius-themed flavor block placed at the bottom of multiple posts in the project's own ANN thread, read by the banning mod as in-post advertising under Rule 24.
Rule 24 in full: 24. Advertisements (including signatures within the post area) in posts aren't allowed unless the post is in a thread you started and is really substantial and useful.
Both prongs of the exception are met on the record:
"in a thread you started" the posts at issue are all in topic 792459, the (BOB) Dobbscoin ANN, which dobbscoin started.
"really substantial and useful" confirmed in writing by nutildah, after reviewing the post history:
he did only leave the fake signature in threads that he started, and the links are more or less relevant to the thread.

Three consensus-level hardforks shipped in the past 30 days v0.11.0 LWMA-3 Restoration (2026-05-22), v0.12.0 AuxPoW Activation (2026-06-01), v0.13.0 Emergency Difficulty Recovery (2026-06-02), all tagged and signed in source.
Live mainnet around 135 MH/s, supply ~8.1M (BOB), height past 1.83 million, blocks landing on schedule.
Full infrastructure maintained: block explorer, mining pool, custodial wallet, paper wallet, faucet, Discord tipbot, ERC-20 wrapper (wBOB) on Gnosis Chain.
A note on commercial intent:
(BOB) is NOT for Sale. There is no token sale, no premine, no commercial venue a flavor block at the bottom of an ANN post would be driving traffic to. (BOB) is a SubGenius parody-religion cult coin mined and faucet-distributed since 2014 with a Church of the SubGenius endorsement on record (Rev. Ivan Stang quote, included in the linked unlock-request thread OP).
Email and PM appeals to staff have gone unanswered for ~30 days, which is why this is being filed here on the advice of regulars in the unlock-request thread.
Request: review of the ban on
dobbscoin (and the related lock on
btcbob) against the text of Rule 24 as written, including the exception. Both prongs of the exception are met on the public record, and on inspection of the linked post itself.
