The transaction is not supporting replace-by-fee. Use a wallet that support replace-by-fee next time. Like Electrum, Sparrow and Bluewallet.

But if the transaction is not having parent transaction. If the fee is more than 10 sat/byte (not 10 sat/vbyte) and also if the transaction size is not more than 500 bytes. Then you can use VIABTC free accelerator to accelerate it.

Mycellium wallet does not support Replace By Fee RBF. It only supports Child-Pay-For-Parents CPFP.

You have to Import your wallet from Mycellium to Electrum wallet and you can use RBF to bump transaction fee for future transactions you broadcast.

With this Pending transaction, you only can wait for it to be confirmed or to be dropped from mempools. To bump fee, you need one condition, the transaction must be broadcasted with RBF-opt-in.

Usually after about 14 days, it will be dropped from some mempools then you can Import wallet to Electrum and broadcast a new transaction with RBF opt-in. Now, if you import it to Electrum, you will see RBF: False.

The minimum fee rate so that you can use ViaBTC free accelrator is 10 sat/byte.
Note that the purging fee rate is different for different nodes and ViaBTC probably have many transactions with the fee rate of less than 23 sat/vbyte in their mempool.

I guess you got the 23 sat/vbyte from mempool.space. If so, that's the purging fee rate for any node with default mempool size.

Yeah, you are correct. ViaBTC sets the value of  10 sat/byte as the minimal fee for transaction to  be considered by their accelerator.

But to be on the safe side I would increase a bit that value because we don't know what is purge value is set (currently) by ViaBTC.

10 sat/byte is the old value that lasts for ages.

If you have sent a transaction with a fee that's less than 10 sat/vB then you won't be able to speed up the transaction but if you have used 10 sat/vB or more as transaction fee then you may try ViaBTC transaction accelerator to accelerate the transaction speed.

I would recommend you to use Electrum wallet next time when you are sending a transaction because that wallet RBF and you can anytime increase the transaction fee to speed up the transactions that you sent via Electrum.

Go to memepool.space and input the transaction ID on the search bar. After you input it check the ETA time and beside it, you will find Accelerate. Click on it to know the cost. Below is the image that shows the Accelerate button.



The Accelerate screen displays three transaction fees and the time it will take for confirmation. Depending on your requirement you could choose the fee, but you would need to first register to accelerate a transaction. It is similar to RBF but the issue here is that you cannot control the fee for the transaction. Below is the screen that you will see after you have clicked the Accelerate button.



I have personally never used this new system on memepool, I feel it is far better than those BTC accelerators available in the market and the fee is not that bad.

I'm using electrum and there's a way to speed up the confirmation. With the current average transaction fee now which is very high, speeding your transaction means more transaction fee.

That will give you an idea how much fee you need to pay for a transaction based on the estimated period, but it will change from time to time, so keep monitoring it.

Have you confirmed this, because not all wallets actually allows spending of unconfirmed transactions.


You’re right but since we have some nodes on full RBF, one can actually double spend a transaction that was broadcasted without RBF opt in, the problem is most SPV wallets do not allow it.


Possibly OP has had this bitcoin long time ago on mycelium when the wallet was one of the most popular ones used, their failure not to upgrade to an RBF wallet isn’t OP’s doing. He just needs to right now get his funds off the Wallet as it is now

There are many ways to speed up your transaction but unfortunately, you are using a wallet which don't support RBF and CPFP, these two could be used to increase the transaction fee and thus it will automatically increase the chances of your transaction being processed earlier than before. But this wallet you are using doesn't support both. And other than this, all you can use it a transaction speed accelerator, there are many accelerator platforms like

• F2Pool
• ViaBTC
• BTC.com

You can use these platforms to accelerate your transaction on your own, do not hire anyone as I have seen many people are giving this as a service in the service section all they are doing is asking you to give them the transaction hash and then they insert that transaction hash in these accelerators, actually these accelerators are directly related with nodes and they don't increase the transaction that much but effective to some extent.

Let me start by saying your question is well understood but you provided little than the needed information. What did you mean by the you used too-low fee for the transaction? You need to furnish us with the exact amount of the fee even if you cannot provide the transaction details directly here due to privacy.

I partly say this because I could see people suggesting ViaBTC to you which is the only free and reliable one, the others will just be rebroadcasting your transaction. But in layman's language, ViaBTC will only accelerate your transaction if it is about 18 Sat/vb. A little lower than that might still go but I have never used lower than that before. Should in case you use a too-low transaction fee than that, I'm afraid you might want to either wait for the congestion to subside and fees go back to normal or you accelate it with a fee.
