I dont know about arwin or the other members, but I didnt say I never check my balance. I said I check it from time to time, so I'm not that obsessed with it.
It depends mainly on the game Im playing. For example, if Im playing slots, which I play the most, I dont have to check my balance after every spin. I usually do it only before the session starts and after it ends. I can see how much I won/lost on each spin, so I have an approximate idea of how much I have left in my account balance.
You have a lot of patience in that case, because when I play slots or any other casino game, I tend to check my balance after each bet only to see how much it is. I do check it before I start the session, of course, but then I keep checking it while I'm playing; it's just a habit because I have been doing that since the beginning of my gambling career. I'm not a regular gambler, so I don't gamble a lot, but when I do, I tend to keep an eye on my balance, also because I always spend only a portion of my bankroll in a single session and then stop if I see I'm losing constantly.
I think most gamblers are like me; they can't control themselves so much that they can wait until the session ends before they can see their balance again. We tend to get anxious if we don't see the balance at least after a few bets, only to see how much we have lost already even though we can have an idea based on how much we are betting on each round or spin, but if we are constantly changing the bets, then it can differ.
