I only see you can teach Bitcoin to children like it is a digital money that can be used through Internet, phones, tablets. That's all simple thing I can teach children about it as at their ages, they even don't need to use money or have very vague thinking and experience with money.

I don’t think OP was talking about teaching bitcoin to kids. There was no mention of children in the OP, I think OP is asking for a simple way one can explain bitcoin to a beginner in layman’s terms.  The terms decentralized, non-custodial may be too technical for some people to understand.

Bitcoin is a new and unique form of money that has no physical form (is only digital) and has a cap. You have full control of your funds and nobody can put their hands in your pocket (bitcoin wallet) taking your money (like banks and governments do with fiat currencies).

I think that's as short as it gets while telling an end user all they need to know for their "introduction" to Bitcoin.

First of all, Why?
What does a 2nd grader have to do with investments and this blockchain in the first place? Let the child enjoy things on his own and wait for his/her to develop their interest with their own curiosity and interest. Forcing things through will just be a waste of time and will not be something they will enjoy. Let us ask ourselves first, did we have such interest before? Or if you are a 2nd grader at this point with toys and play time on your mind, how will you react then? We do get the point which is to teach them about how investment works however there are better ways to do so such as associating his toys and things he's busy with, little by little. It takes time for our interests to things in parrticular to grow and that won't happen in a single night or two. It won't happen also just because someone told you to do so. Everything requires initiative and will. No number of sentences will be enough to push a CHILD to something they know nothing about and something that is not even applicable on their age. If we ourselves as adults are having a hard time then what more on their case?

You may not be able to get that accurately within just four sentences for a novice, but if you already have an idea then you may have more insight on what bitcoin actually is.

Most of us reading this are getting it all wrong, The topic doesn’t actually reflect the message his trying to pass I believe what his searching for is the easiest and shortest way to explain Bitcoin in layman’s terms so even a 2nd grader may understand not exactly looking at the 2nd grader as the audience but mostly for elderly and uneducated people.

Remember he used his mum and her friends as an example one thing we must have in mind is that from life experiences we know that as we grow older our minds begin to turn to that of little kids if you’ve lived with your grandparents you’d understand what I mean.

I’d like to explain Bitcoin simply as a digital version of money which works like our regular money but online meaning you can’t touch it though you can see and use it through the use of digital devices like your mobile phones, computers and other devices.

Teaching kids in a way that is easy to understand is I think not that easy considering their young and weak mind but yeah here's mine.

It is also the pioneer in the crypto industry.

I know that kids might listen to us but expect that they don't take it so seriously because this could mean too much or technical for them.

Don't make it harder mate as you already knew how to explain this to your friend and he is not second grade though maybe he is Slow but he can manage understanding enough sentences.
