Also take note of web3 remember there are many blockchain games crypto related if you can give them a few sample games like Axie it would be easier for them to learn about web3 and NFTs.

What's the goal for the participants? Do they want to "get rich quick", "earn money on the internet", or how to safely store Bitcoin after buying it? If it's the first two, I can't help them much. But if it's the latter, they don't need to learn a lot before they can start doing it. There's no need to install a full node for instance.

Best to make sure you shape the difficulty and topics of your program based on what your audience already knows.  That way they will stay interested and keep on learning instead of gettin bored or confused.  I would say the first thing ya gotta do is figure out who exactly you are talkin to.  Are they total newbies when it comes to Bitcoin, or do they kinda already know some basic stuff and are ready to get into the nitty gritty?  If they already got some baseline knowledge, you can jump into more complex stuff like how mining works or the technology behind the blockchain, but the key is tailoring it to their level.

here is an idea:
teach your people that bitcoin does not leave the bitcoin network and people cant just add more units to bitcoin outside of the reward structure of blocks.. so when discussing LN(FACEPALM) ensure they learn LN is not bitcoin. LN is different and has its own niche services, functions, model.. dont try confusing people that LN is bitcoin. (same goes for other subnetworks that also peg/wrap and emulate bitcoin)(same goes for custodian services)

its also like CEX database, which is not bitcoin either.
teach people about #not-your-key-not-your-coin

other networks other systems dont have the same security model as the bitcoin blockchain. dont confuse people with foolish idea's that other systems are bitcoin or better then bitcoin

maybe you need to spend some time learning more about what bitcoin is before making posts about being "bitcoin focused" but then deviate within same post to mention other networks.

i assume your game play is to offer small awards for learning your versions of how you see things. and later hope people then pay you back somehow. like maybe you offer them portfolio fund management services or something?!

My idea is to teach those members about cold wallets and hot wallets because that's also a very important topic for the newbie learners of Bitcoin. Most of the new users often go with hot wallets, and when someone else gets access to their device then they get hacked and consider Bitcoin and crypto as scam. It's far better to educate such newbies about the cold and hot wallets so they could safely store their Bitcoin without any worries.

Another important thing I suggest you is to teach your group embers about custodial and personal wallets. Most of the new users keep their Bitcoin in custodial wallets and that's not a safe approach for holding Bitcoin. It's better to educate your group members about personal wallets so they can be the true owner of the Bitcoin that they have bought.

For me, wallets as storage are mandatory knowledge that must be well mastered by Bitcoin and crypto users in general because knowing a broad understanding of wallets really helps users secure their assets after they know other basics which you think are more important.

They should be able to differentiate the advantages and disadvantages of using software, hardware and other wallets.
They also need to know the advantages and disadvantages of using open source and closed source wallets.
This is intended to avoid using an exchange to store assets for months.

I think knowledge about wallets as a place to store assets is number 1 to be taught after explaining what Bitcoin is, how Bitcoin works and after explaining what crypto is.

For sure OP you already tried activity setting some Bitcoin wallets, how to send Bitcoin, how to set transaction fees (fees/byte)?
Or maybe try also the calculation of fees or size of the transactions, sending batch transaction (where you can send to multiple addresses using one transaction).

Years ago, Coinbase or Blockchain.com run their Learn & Earn Program but it is like their contracts with cryptocurrency projects to advertise them. Budget for earning in these programs come from marketing budgets of those projects.

If $10 is a total earning through a program, they will stop learning when they earn the maximum $10. Later if you add more content, questions for your program, they will not join it again to learn and answer new questions.
