In reality, almost everyone will sell if the reward amount is significant. That's why we arrived at dust airdrops through trial and error. The airdrop reward should be small, just enough to demonstrate and test the technology. Large airdrops will almost certainly sell, putting pressure on the price.
This way, we'll simply be feeding the freeloaders. I don't think our project particularly needs freeloaders; we need enthusiasts. And an enthusiast is someone who buys from the pool with their own money.
Airdrops serve a different purpose. They simply generate interest and expand the number of holders.
-------
I'd also like to point out that you need to be very careful when running campaigns on the forum. This forum isn't very fond of alternative cryptocurrencies. As for airdrops, it's probably better to conduct them on Discord or somewhere similar.
----
If someone needs a few tokens for a giveaway, that's no problem. They can help with that in the Russian locale. But, I repeat, we shouldn't feed freeloaders. We should be giving away dustsmall amounts just to get acquainted. These are amounts that are unprofitable to sell. And even if they were sold, there's no economic benefit to be gained from it, since the dollar value of the tokens is less than the commission. If you give away more than the commission, in most cases it will all be siphoned off into a pool. It's like throwing money into the sea.
All youve said here makes a lot of sense and I believe would make things a lot more easier for us. And from everything youve said so far, I believe Ive been able to point out a few things that may likely help make this bounty campaign a possibility and success, which are
1. In order to avoid people selling off their tokens and putting pressure on the network, Ill either conduct a kind of a dust bounty or most likely distribute the rewards in USDT just like @Nightwatchmare suggested earlier, so that even if they happen to to sell after distribution, it wouldnt affect or cause any kind of pressure on the network.
2. Ill look for a way to run the bounty campaign on discord or somewhere outside the forum or maybe even on the AltcoinsTalks.com forum, I believe we have some of our supporters here who already have their accounts teleported over there, itll make it a lot more easier for us.
3. This campaign will not be targeted at feeding freeloaders, but itll be a direct attempt to increase the number of HODLers by distributing dust tokens to them and then compensating them (in another currency, maybe USDT or TON) for helping to advertise CHAMBY across their various social media accounts. So itll be like killing 2 birds with just one stone and hopefully from this campaign, well be able to gain more enthusiastic supporters and investors wholl buy CHAMBY directly from the pool and HODL it all the way to the moon.
