Are you one of those who get panicked when bitcoin price falls by 10-20% in a day ? Or you are no longer affected by such price drops and continue to invest on each dip ?
You know what, I admit price changes definitely get me excited sometimes. Back when I first started investing, if I saw my portfolio drop 10%, Id be staring at the graphs and numbers for hours trying to figure out what happened. But after doing this for awhile Ive kind of learned to roll with the volatility punch. And hey, buying more coins when they dip can actually be a total thrill ride if you play it strategically!
That said, yeah, every once in awhile a big crash still gives me those panicky feels. But having a long-term investment plan in place makes a huge difference with keeping emotions in check when things go nutty.
Any suggestions on how to control own feelings in case of such drastic drops in bitcoin price ?
Honestly the best advice I can give is to focus on what you can control. Understand the risks involved and set a clear investment strategy that works for you. Sticking to that plan can help you avoid making rash decisions based on fear.
But as others have already said, I cannot recall the last time Bitcoin's price dropped by 10-20% in a single day. Such price swings are more common for altcoins, but not for Bitcoin anymore, imho.
