According to X sources fraudsters now use fake video conferencing software designed to steal cryptocurrency. This was used in the Monoswap hacking incident where the scammer used a fake Kakao video conferencing Trojan software. They also target, job seekers interested in crypto and blockchain positions to whom they pose as recruiters who demand downloading malicious video conferencing software as interview channels.
