It is very sad that politicians have gained negative reputations from the public due to their failed promises, they are the same everywhere, they will sweet word the masses to get their votes. It is on this ground that we are not trusting Donald Trump, who has suddenly became a pro Bitcoin during his ongoing election campaign, nobody can easily trust anything that he's saying because of the perceptions that we have of politicians. I think that Bitcoin is a super force that has come to stay and people are adopting it massively, politicians who don't like the decentralization that it stands for are not having much choices but to embrace it because it's what the new generation wants. Whether the politicians are embracing Bitcoin in deception or not, it's only a matter of time before they will accept it wholeheartedly in the near future.

Of course, issues related to the national economy and world security are much more important, cryptocurrencies are not the biggest and most important factor that will determine the outcome of this election. But we are on a bitcoin forum and what people care about most is things related to bitcoin, not news like abortion, immigration, rent prices...And as bitcoin investors, it's no surprise that the majority would favor Trump over Harris, and I also see no reason to vote for Harris, who will continue to pursue anti-corruption policies bitcoin, and the cryptocurrency that Biden leaves behind.

I agree. There are no trustworthy politicians and what they promise does not matter. The only thing that matters is what they deliver. As far as Trump goes, I have not known him to deliver on his election promises. And many promises are obviously over-exaggerated.

That is why I am not getting all excited about his Bitcoin remark.

 Has anyone noticed that no one is talking bad about Bitcoin amongst the campaigners especially Trump? You won't try to especially since you know that's about the best strategy you've got going for you and if I were to add, the only thing giving him an edge over Kamala. Edward Snowden was wise to say what he said because it's like knowing someone like the back of your hand and you can't be easily swayed by mere words from that person when you've got that knowledge.
 Like I'd always reiterate, politicians know only one rule and that's to use any and every means to get their way and it's no surprise that Trump has turned to that which he so despised back when he was president to worshipping it now he's running for president. What a funny turn of events!.

That is true, they are just doing it to get more votes and that's it, nothing more than that. You can see a lot of people all around the internet, famous people or not so famous people, sharing their ideas to get love and attention.

Trump is just another one of those, a person who is hungry for love and attention, and meanwhile if he gets hate which causes him to get more love then he can be hated by some people to get more love from some others. If it means getting super hate from democrats that results with republicans even loving him more, then that's fine with him.

Elon Musk is the same way, we always knew what kind of person he was and we just ignored it because it didn't impact anyone, and yet it started to impact people so he is annoying a lot of people as well. These two dwerps are causing crypto to not get loved by certain part of the world and anyone who hates them and sees them loving crypto may by proxy hate crypto as well. We need to realize that politicians causing crypt to go up is not something permanent, tomorrow if they decide it is not working anymore or they do not need them anymore, we could consider how it could make a change for them and just switch up and hate it too.

First of all, I will start by saying that the politicians will never stop being who they are regardless of the party they represent they all are the same. In my country Nigeria, I think one presidential candidate used Bitcoin to campaign in the last election he promised to welcome Bitcoin investment and traders if elected as the president but the youth didn't support him because they saw the lies in his speech.

The race is now in the presidential election in the US and political parties and their candidates are using Bitcoin as their biggest support system to win the heart of the citizens, don't you think they know the truth about the importance of Bitcoin to the economy even though they are always kicking against Bitcoin, I do not believe that American citizens will elect someone as her president and forget to remind him of his promises. Let's try Trump this time let's see if he will go against his words.

You are not far from the truth, the politicians knows exactly the right strategy to apply to win the interest of the masses but regardless of what we have seen happened in the past and how the politicians has used their sugar-coated words to win the heart of the people and achieved their aims I think it will be a shameful thing if Trump fails to do as he has promised if elected as the next president of America.

Believing that Americans can stand up to drag Trump if he gains to fulfil his promises I still think the citizens has the right to elect whom they believed to be the most credible candidate among the candidates.

You made a nice point here, politicians are just sweet talkers which you will never know their true intentions they make empty promises to make you believe all what they said. perhaps non seems to be true.
