The lessons that our parents learned back then while useful they are not the whole truth, this is because the world is always evolving and what worked on the past may not work on the future, and while working hard is important, there is no doubt that it is not enough either, since I am sure we have seen cases of people that worked all their life and at the end they never achieved the lifestyle they wanted, so if we do not want the same to happen to us we need to try to find paths in which this can become an achievable goal, and investing in bitcoin is one of those paths that can without a doubt help us to achieve our objectives.

BTC has a transparent blockchain, mixers are risky to use because of their custodial nature and not everyone can use CoinJoin, nor can they efficiently stay private when they use BTC. I believe criminals would prefer cash for illicit tx's because it is very difficult to trace, i am not talking about digital fiat tx's, but cash, this is part of the reasons why governments want to lauch cbdc's and why merchants receiving cash deposits above a certain limit have to report it to the authorities, cash is a perfect tool for money laundering.

In terms of actual activity this can still be called a job but its nature becomes flexible where it is not too good if it is used as a full-time job and maybe it will be more suitable if it is used as a part-time job.

But indeed regardless of the mention of whether this is said to be a job or not I don't think it's a problem that should be messed with because everyone has their own perspective on it, which is clear in this case those who do consider themselves traders must understand that in the end being here is not an easy thing and for those who are new to bitcoin do not do this as an experiment out of curiosity because this will endanger themselves, especially in their financial problems.

It’s good to see you showing and having interest in bitcoin in such a young age. There’s this belief that the young ones have a sharper brain than the older ones and they can easily understand and assimilate things faster. Since you’re working and getting paid and also if not reporting to your parents, you can spare some reasonable amount from your salary to invest in bitcoin. If you’ve understood it as you said, all the advantage and disadvantages will be known to you by now and what you need to avoid.

Since you are directing part of your salary into Bitcoin investment, I think that is a good idea but also, you have to understand that Bitcoin investment has it own risk and you should be ignorant of it. Sometimes the market might go bullish and everyone could be happy about it and other time, the price might go bear which will make some newbies investors to start panicking on whether to sell part of their holdings or keep hiking for as long as possible. It is good you make your own decisions based on how much you are earning and afford for now because we don't really know what you are really passing through at this stage of your life until you share it to us as a story.

I have to agree with you at some point. Most particularly that most jobs these days are already operated online so whether it's offline or online, we can find good jobs that will definitely pay us with good compensation. However, when it comes to stability, it could be more preferable working with physical jobs but talking about high paying jobs, online jobs are capable for that. Trading could be a job for others, but I suggest just make it a side hustle knowing how risky it is to become a job.

Hi Frennn welcome to the club, and super elite club haha. Back then when I was young my friend my parent and my brother didn't believe what I can do in this scrypto space but times marches on and I can make hundred dollar just by doing an online job and etc and they also start to believe me.

Investment here in Indonesia is sometimes only looked by half eye and they usually said Online investment is a scam.

I'm literally trying to place a particular essence around this post by you OP, the most i could get of this is that you came to see if we are going to prove between you and your parents who was right about the ways to make money since it appears like there are different perspectives with which you people see how money should be made and if this is exactly the point then i beg to disappoint you because i know that both ways good money could actually be made, there are people who have got a physical job and are able to make good money and there are others with a remote job and a non physical job yet they make good money so either ways you get to make money if you are good at your job.

you don't have to necessarily do a soft job alone or just investing like you do with bitcoin and then you can have both running simultaneously and still make good funds of it such that you still be really comfortable at having both especially if you are exploring the investment aspect of the soft side of the job.
