Peter Sheriff accepted later that he got that wrong when bitcoin got above $95000 or so.

You can not find any person who can be more anti-Bitcoin than Peter Schiff.

In 2019, it is a bearish market year and price was lower than $20,000 which is 2018 ATH (a litle bit lower than $20,000). Five years later, from 2019 to 2024, price is more than five-fold since 2018 ATH, and if we compare to 2019 price, it would be higher than x5 because in November 2019, price starts above $9,000 and fell to about $7,200 in late of that month.

Peter Shiff and his company sells gold and has products related to gold. He knows that whole capital around the world is zero-sum, if more people are interested in and invest their capital into Bitcoin market, less people and less capital will be in Gold market.

You don't have to convince Peter Schiff or change his mind, it's his business, but you can read this The bullish case for Bitcoin and strengthen your belief in Bitcoin, then say no to gold.

Sometimes you can receive notifications from exchange applications like "Bitcoin price dips below $98,000". It's ironic and Peter Schiff likes it.

Peter Sheriff has said a lot of negative things about bitcoin. He said bitcoin is not backed by anything. If he is preferring the traditional markets, he can keep shot instead of saying what he does not know. As he always criticize bitcoin, the price of bitcoin continued to increase and getting to all-time high. I hope he will have change of mind now and know that what people support is what that will appreciate the price of an asset and not what is physical. He even criticized microstrategy last month which is uncalled for.

Well this is no longer strange for Perter Schiff he will continue trolling when the price starts to fall, but when bitcoin goes up then he might stop talking anything because the price is high.

Skeptics will be difficult to tell, maybe Peter will be hated by many people.
Try to imagine if bitcoin is bearish maybe Peter will be the first person to do a lot of trolling.

I hope he just stops so he doesn’t embarrass himself further and focuses on his traditional investment, like gold. He’s not a high-risk taker like us, and that’s fine, but he should at least respect Bitcoin investors by keeping his opinions to himself. Sometimes, silence speaks louder than doubts.

When it comes to gold, he should have a solid argument to explain why Bitcoin consistently shows a higher ROI. Most likely, he’d lean on the stability comparison, emphasizing gold’s long-term reliability over Bitcoin’s volatility. And of course, he’d bring up the trust factor, gold has been a strategic reserve for many countries for decades, while Bitcoin hasn’t reached that status yet.

This is another indicator that all these "experts" of the old guard know nothing, or are deliberately misinforming us (which is extremely unlikely). In any case, their forecasts should not be treated as truth.

@getderb is a coolguy, although he just guessed the date and numbers right. But the main thing here is that he believed in the future of bitcoin, unlike Peter.

Schiff is right about some things, but he has a blind spot when it comes to bitcoin and he and anyone who has followed his advice has been the worse for it.  It is too bad.  Eventually maybe he'll come around and still have another order of magnitude or two of fiat term growth to go.

Accepted later and then start trolling again. Maybe in the future, Peter will accept something again just like this and after that start trolling again. If It were me, I'd just stay put and stop trolling people. I am sure that those people who follow his advice did surely regretted the decision of not buying bitcoin years ago. If he change how he sees crypto especially after bitcoin's price reaching almost 100k at 95k+ at the time I am writing this post.
