So, I used some of my coins to buy myself some stuff that I needed, just to have some fun. For instance, I bought a few gifts for my child, bought a few gift cards that I can later use at various stores, charged my Amazon account. Why I don't even count that as profit taking? Because it was less than 0.1% of what I'm holding.

On one hand I want to celebrate 100k by buying myself some gifts and having some fun, on the other I don't need anything at the moment. I'm not a complete minimalist, but I could have a new computer or a new TV, but the old ones are pretty fine. Why would I spend money on new ones? Just to brag about it to my friends? I don't need that.

If you can afford to hold bitcoin - do it.

Of course I took profits from crypto this season.

My profit plan for this season is: I had already planned in my mind that when Bitcoin reaches $100,000 I would sell my Bitcoin, so I placed a sell order for $100,000 of my entire Bitcoin and when Bitcoin reaches $100,000 my entire Bitcoin will be sold and converted to USDT. I did not keep any Bitcoin for the future, I sold my Bitcoin for 100K and took profit.

Of course I think it is possible for Bitcoin to create a new ATH again this season but I think the next ATH will be between 150k and 170k. So hold on to Bitcoin and wait for the new ATH hopefully the new ATH will be created very soon

But experience is not free and thanks to that hype, scam ICO and shitcoins, we now know what the true value is. In 2017, even $10k seemed like something supernatural and unimaginable that no one could foresee. To be completely honest, i am yet to sell anything; i believe next year will be very bullish for BTC and when that time comes, i will sell some % of my stash, not too much, at least not more than 40%.

I do not have any plan of selling all my BTC, and the reason i will sell some % of my stash is to diversify my investments, not into altcoins if you are curious, but into non-crypto assets; i.e. gold.
