As the leading country on bitcoin adoption around the globe i hope this will be an annual celebration, i mean the lighting of bitcoin christmass tree not just because its in bull season because if I remember correctly, there's nothing like this last year.
Actually, there is nothing wrong with celebrating Christmas like that with the nuance of bitcoin, especially since El Salvador is a pioneer country in adopting bitcoin. However, it would be better if El Salvador did it every year, not only when bitcoin is at its highest price which makes them gain a lot of profit and then they express it on Christmas.
El Salvador is certainly very happy with what has been achieved now by adopting bitcoin, so they want to educate the public, especially the world community, to continue investing in bitcoin. Although the celebration is considered excessive, but if they do it without eliminating the essence of Christmas and they do it every year, maybe that would be better. Because what they are doing now is a form of appreciation for what they have gotten from investing in bitcoin. Other countries may not be able to celebrate Christmas that freely because many countries do not yet have regulations for bitcoin.
