Is it safe down there in the tourist resorts? I mean, of course you hear about the gangs and cartels that are operating there, so I was just thinking that maybe there would be some robbers who might have tried to cause you guys trouble had they seen you all talking about bitcoin.
This was the first thing that crossed my mind while reading the additional paragraph. Crypto-related crimes are rising quite fast.
Incidentally, just days ago, I read on the news that a crypto forum moderator was actually threatened for his Bitcoin. And now he's moving from one place to another for his security.
Just this recent holiday season alone, a number of individuals all over the world, some of them influencers, have been kidnapped for their crypto assets.
Anyway, on topic, yeah, that people don't know Bitcoin is the primary reason why they aren't on it. This refers to both people who haven't heard of Bitcoin yet and those who have known Bitcoin wrongly all this time.
