My prediction for Group B:
Australia and England are likely the favorites to progress to the semifinals. Both teams possess deep batting lineups and varied bowling attacks. Australia has a bigger chance of topping the table.
Australia: A big plus in Australia's game is their aggressive approach to opponents; they will most likely try to dominate every opponent in their group. They have the team to do so. Captain Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, and Travis Head are all excellent batsmen. On the bowling side is Adam Zampa. Australia is a formidable opponent and my favorite in this tournament.
Australia without their key players (Cummins, Starc, Hazlewood) looking bleak, I don't think they'll do good in this tourney. They also had shitshow in recently concluded odi series against Sri Lanka where they lost both games.
Edit: Bets placed on ENG, NZ and SA as outright winner. No to Australia cause written above, India often chokes at finals, Pakistan don't think they are competitive enough as of lately, BAN/AFG don't stand a chance. Let's see how it goes.
