Completely agree, all else equal one can get a better job than shitcoin airdrop hunting, but in some situations it is not possible or desirable. First of all, it is fun (sometimes), you learn a shitcoin space, how operates (important not to fall in love with shitcoin as someone noted, I did a couple of times and lost a bit of money, ie made mistakes). Second, shitcoin to BTC is the easiest work->BTC path, ie work->fiat->BTC is a bit more difficult (chokepoints).
Don't worry, each person has to find their own method to make money. Good for those who have better earnings opportunities available, but for those who have little, they have to start from this, as it's better than doing nothing. Since you are exchanging your shitcoins into BTC, it's fine. Continue doing this and raising your portfolio. Save in BTC, and never in shitcoins. Meanwhile, continue looking for another means to make extra income. Don't stick to only one method forever.
I've never been into shitcoins business, but I claimed cryptocurrencies from faucets many years ago. People talked negatively about it, because the rewards were pretty low. But it was a good experience and granted me some earnings which got extremely valuable along the years, due to increasements in Bitcoin price. After all, I only regret for not having spent more time on faucets.
Just be careful to not waste time on shitcoins' campaigns which pay nothing in the end.
