    The very first step and also most important is to understand "It is your key, it is your bitcoin" so that people will see it is too vital by choosing a good place to store their bitcoin.

    It is in non-custodial and open-source wallets. Because with those wallets, you have keys of your bitcoin and you actually control your bitcoin.

    Other wallets are custodial like centralized exchanges, Bitcoin Spot ETFs are not non custodial wallets so no private keys for you. If you want to have bitcoin from those platforms, you will have to submit your withdrawal request or redeem request and get approvals from them. If they don't approve your request and refuse to give you bitcoin, you will lose your bitcoin.

    It is vital and definitely most important step.

It is advised to invest for the long term because that is where bitcoin can be the most profitable however this does not mean that other ways of investing should not be considered at all anymore as it all depends on yourself anyway whether you find short term or long term more preferable at the moment.     spreading knowledge about bitcoin to others is a good thing, but whether they are interested in it or not is not a guarantee, because from my experience most people are not that interested in bitcoin, they only see it as a new technology but they don't see any appeal to invest their money there ... because for people to be interested in bitcoin it has to come from them personally. no matter how much you say about bitcoin, if the person is not interested in it, then they will never be interested.

    yes but this can all change over time we do not know what the future holds and with multiple governments going out and expressing genuine interest in bitcoin we might see bitcoin’s price stabilize more and more

    let us also not write off that gold’s price can also fall sometime either from economic downturn or just general lack of demand of gold we never know

    Gold price may be more stable for now, but it also goes up in value at a much slower rate than bitcoin. That is because the supply of gold is unlimited.
    It took gold 40+ years just to triple in price, while bitcoin often doubles or triples in price in just one year.

    As marketcap and adoption increases, bitcoin volatility will go down. But unlike gold, the supply of bitcoin will never increase.

    As for me the things to first do to understand bitcoin and it Blockchain is the basic concepts of bitcoin and it whitepaper. A question must be asked " Why bitcoin was created"? When you have known that question then you can use bitcoin. And I believed the real reason why bitcoin was created has been forgotten. And everyone is interested in investing and not on the real p2p.
    And the transaction fee also affecting the p2p in stores and shop. If not people would have accepting the coin nevertheless people were still accepting but the country government policies also making people to stop accepting the coin.

The notion is that bitcoin isn't risky and you can't just lose even without having knowledge of it but by just buying and holding you're cool. But there's a place of knowledge which could save the novice investor from falling victim of scam or getting to initiate the wrong action on a transaction or clicking a phishing link.

    My opinion is more about the whole of your post rather be specific about the steps to understanding Bitcoin. I think your post was written in a manner that you anticipated would bring you merits (that seems to have failed) even though that was the sole purpose of your attempt/effort rather than to bring something meaningful to the conversation.

    As a result of the thread, I looked at your post history and there is nothing of substance there. I am not surprised.

These aren't even the most important facts, principles, truths about Bitcoin. Many of what's listed are seemingly petty, trivial.

    This list could have been made better. Saylor could have included legitimate rules like 'not your keys, not your coins', exchanges aren't wallets, private keys aren't meant to be shared, Bitcoin isn't a get-rich quick scheme, and so on and so forth.

    Just a short review. I can guarantee beginner who knows nothing about Bitcoin and gets to read the first three chapters of this book, that you're going to understand Bitcoin at a very over high level. It connects the different pieces of together and breaks down how transactions works, how they're serialized in broadcasts to the network which allows you to start understanding how anyone can use Bitcoin and how no one can stop the transactions, how addresses were created. Also it covers a private key to a public key to an address all using elliptic curve cryptography and different elliptic curve mathematics and different cryptographic functions and hashes  and it clarified it very simply with many really good examples. At the end of the book, it will leave you feeling more confident in your knowledge of bitcoin. I highly recommend it.

    Knowledge is profitable to those that knows how to wield &  use for better purpose.     Despite it's volatility and remarkable nature, Bitcoin price have continue to appreciate in value and it's potential has make it unique from other coins. Imagine those that bought,Hodl and have to refuse to sell when the price of Bitcoin was $50k, imagine how much profit they have accumulated over the years. It's it better not to sell your bitcoin but stack as much as you can  and Hodl for the future because the price of bitcoin hasn't reached its peak and it is very profitable to those that can Hodl for a long term.
