Bitcoin is not a trading platform.

Bitcoin is global and is going mainstream, what's happening in remote areas won't affect Bitcoin stability. Don't care about it, but it's good if you can do something to expand Bitcoin adoption in more areas including remote areas.

My thinking is startup business can destroy lives of many bussiness entrepreneurs.
Trading Bitcoin from Spot to Margin or Futures trading types can destroy finance of many people.

Investment in Bitcoin can help, but only if you buy and store your bitcoin safely and by this, I emphasize, don't store your bitcoin on centralized, online platforms.

understanding how bitcoin works for people in that kind of environment will appear too technical for them because of there lack of exposure to foundational technological knowledge. there is a level  of knowledge that is needed to consider some form of investment and for people in a very rural part of the world, it is quite understandable that their investment choice will be more centered on what they have been used to.

talk investment to someone that all his life has been centered around farming, fishing or one agricultural niche or the other, his exposure would not allow him try any form of investment he is not familiar with. digital divide is what ought to first be treated before introducing them to bitcoin investment. it might surprise you that some of them don't know how the banking system works and if that is so, how then can they understand bitcoin? if you try to persuade them by all means, it will only suggest that are trying to scam them. people in rural area need exposition to basic social amenities like you have pointed out and from that point they can now grow into knowing about bitcoin and make the choice of investing in it or not.

That’s good ideas of course but what can you do to actually make this happen? Posting this here may generate some attention. Maybe posting it in your local board, even more so.

Actually I am sure there are organizations already in place for helping people in rural areas. Bringing education and innovation into these areas. I think the very foundation of bringing these communities up is education and that requires time, effort and most importantly financial support.

The irony is you need to have money in order to make money from Bitcoin.

Since this is in rural areas, where it lacks of facilities, it means you need to spend more because you might live in an areas that lack of internet connection, it will make you need to move to a place that give good connection or you buy more expensive internet package.

Usually in rural areas there will be a lot gossip when you only stay at home, but you can buy expensive things. They might envy with your achievement and disturb you, which encourage you to make money through BTC.

i have travelled the world and visited africa a few times in different regions. and some remote villages always seem the same.
after talking with a few remote villagers, they tell me this:

we have had many clean white men visit us, offering opportunity online to earn an income. but at the end of the pitch they do not offer the advice, the task, the training, instead they ask for the money upfront needed to start up.

many villagers have been scammed over the last decade by ICO scammers, premine-altcoiners, subnetwork(LN) salesmen..  and even some bitcoiners that pretend to be some investment portfolio manager. .. they had enough of it
for centuries african families have many tales of how outsiders come into town and offer their ancestors dreams of fortunes but make demands of payment upfront first, even the whole voodoo and black magic are known scams their ancestors taught them to avoid

they are sceptical of anyone making wealth promises but then put hand out not to give, but to take. a quote i remember
'if the clean white man so truly wealthy from is scheme, why does he need my money, doesnt he already have his own'

it takes a while to teach them about what bitcoin actually is and the difference between what bitcoin is vs the scammers that abuse people via bitcoin

many have settled on the idea that many international charities do and would provide them with shelter, wells, and food when job opportunities are lacking. and no one should be asking a villager for anything upfront. they dont even think that starting a local business is a possibility because international charities provide so much that no one has an ability to compete by offering a product or service for payment, to even start getting an income. so they just accept the free handouts and their economic mindset is 'be given to us first, before we give back'

Op, as someone who's also very passionate about Bitcoin since I learnt of it and is very interested in any program that'll help us spread the knowledge of Bitcoin to everyone, I totally understand your point of trying to teach people of the local regions about Bitcoin and investing in Bitcoin however, you must know that their level of exposure will make it extremely difficult for them to accept these teachings. You pointed out absence of a lot of basic amenities which includes lack of internet connections so I think it's more important to call for a governmental intervention in the locality so they can at least know a little about modern technological innovations before you can introduce Bitcoin to them.

That said, I also think this post would've made more sense in Nigerian local board where members are more familiar with the region you described so they can easily relate to the subject matter and offer nice opinions that'll proffer solutions to the issues raised.

A large number of people who reside in rural areas in developing nations are poor. It would be a wrong approach to introduce such people to Bitcoin because they might not have the financial backing to trade or hodl. The first step should be to introduce them to skills or avenues to gain income. Secondly, they need to be taught how and why they should save some portion of their income. Now they can be introduced to Bitcoin as a type of investment. Some of them might show interest in buying and hodling Bitcoin as an asset for a long time.

I can't understand how Bitcoin can help these people in isolation. These people can't improve their circumstances just by storing some Bitcoin because you have to think about the factors and circumstances that can benefit from Bitcoin. There are very poor areas where people can't meet the most basic daily needs but they are subject to government regulations that won't allow them to use Bitcoin easily.

In remote areas where there is no proper system of online services or there is a small scale, it is necessary to develop all those places. I think they need financial development first. Even if a subject like Bitcoin is taught there, they will not be able to retain that education because they are burdened with financial costs. First, it is necessary to provide employment in those places. After employment is created, they will be able to save money. Only those who have money will be eligible to invest in Bitcoin. No matter how good advice I give them, if they do not have money, they will not be able to invest. That is why they have to earn money first and when they are able to live a normal life. They can choose any investment platform to increase their money to be profitable.

However, I welcome such a bold initiative of yours. If the awareness of Bitcoin can be increased among the people of remote areas, they will definitely be ahead in knowing about Bitcoin compared to others. If they can afford to hold an investment platform like Bitcoin for the long term, they will certainly be able to improve their financial situation.

Another good point you got there. Apart from the lack of internet which I think is too basic to be lacking, their financial strength like you said is another factor that'll limit their interest in Bitcoin if you take the teachings to these areas. Like you said, it's also very much important to try create skills that'll help improve their earnings thereby equipping them financially so those who would develop interest when Bitcoin is introduced can as well have the basic finance to invest by trading or holding. Bitcoin is one of the greatest financial innovations in the history of global finance system and taking the knowledge to every corners of the universe I think is our collective responsibilities.
