Anything that has to do with long-term holding requires determination and patience; if you are not determined enough, seeing your portfolio draining down nonstop without a sign of it hitting back up can cause the person to sell prematurely with the intention of trying to save that little which is left instead of losing it all, which is why it requires courage to overcome such a difficult moment, although that kind of commitment should only be exercised when the person is holding a trusted asset which, no matter how low it drops, will certainly bounce back; what's only required is time.

Absolutely — Bitcoin has proven itself over time. Others come and go, but BTC keeps bouncing back every cycle. Still holding strong.

Investors who have been observing the movement of Bitcoin for many years can easily understand how safe this asset is in terms of investment. There are some investors  who want more profit, in the case of them, we often see a situation where they do not invest in Bitcoin without understanding it, but rather increase their investment in some shit coins. For them, investment is definitely risky. Those coins can lose their existence and value in the long term, which is definitely not positive for the  investors. That is why I think that for investment, one should not invest in any coin that causes losses in the future. Although there is some risk in investing in Bitcoin, those who speculate for the long term and invest only in Bitcoin will definitely get benefit.

I think its interesting that you say you never worry about your Bitcoin holdings.  But then you describe this whole dump and pump cycle which makes it sound like maybe you do worry about things at least a little bit and  i mean, you have seen the dumps happen, but youre banking on it always pumping back up higher afterwards.  Hey, I hope youre right but thats not guaranteed my friend. 

You also claim that holding long-term means less risk and that profits are guaranteed, even pointing to the big institutional players getting involved.  That seems like a bold statement given that Bitcoin can still be pretty volatile.  Just because some big shots are finally putting money in doesnt necessarily mean your personal guarantee is air tight.  You are betting things will follow a certain pattern, but nothings absolute. There is no "guarantee" of any kind.

Talking about losing hope, some people have lost hope in Bitcoin because of its volatility. They entered the Bitcoin market with the wrong knowledge that Bitcoin would make them rich in the short term, but they saw the opposite "losses''. Because of that, they had to sell their Bitcoin at a loss, not ready to trust Bitcoin again.

It's unfortunate that Many newbies are not equipped with the right knowledge of Bitcoin. They were only told the good side of Bitcoin, to make them rich. If in the long run, they didn't see such a thing, what do you expect, is it not for them to lose hope on Bitcoin investment?

Without volatility, we wouldn't of celebrated so many milestones reached regarding how far BTC has come - and it probably wouldn't of interested institutions without the progress it made to this point. So, yeah, it's okay that it's there - we just need to utilize it correctly.

And that's overlooked by many, in general - projects may have lots of honey put into them, but no real value.

BTC, on the other hand, just goes forward, without avoiding FOMO or FUD, but it sticks to its values - and it excels all expectations.
