with seed phrase, it's akin of giving up password to other people, they can do something bad with it because they simply have full access, but imagine you're having multisig with your significant other + 3rd party entity that's tied with contract agreement that can be taken into court, if something happens to you, your SO or anyone who got the key can just make a request with the 3rd party entity to approve the tx, basically allowing them access, I think it can be a solution.
