Instead of comparing bitcoin to ETH, why don't you try looking at Sol?
It is undeniable that bitcoin is performing better and many altcoins are performing worse but not all, we cannot equate all altcoins as equally bad.

But what we need to note is that unlike previous cycles, the number of altcoin projects is growing into the millions in this cycle. That means not all altcoins are profitable, only a few are profitable. So be very careful when investing in altcoins during this cycle.


By the way, if you believe that the bull run is not over yet, bitcoin can continue to rise, it is still too early to say that ETH will not rise and will not bring good profits.
According to some recent onchain data, BlackRock is selling bitcoin to buy ETH. It can be seen, this is just their financial game and their goal is profit just like us, they are not here to support or worship single coin.

Actually altcoins have shown time and time again that they come with serious risks whether it's poor tech shady leadership or centralization issues. While some may offer short term gains the long term reliability just isn’t there, Compared to Bitcoin which is decentralized and has stood the test of time most altcoins feel like unstable experiments. To be honest for anyone looking to minimize risk focusing on Bitcoin does seem like the smarter move

We can never come to the stage where centralization is completely outlived, centralization will continue to exist because whether we believe it or not, like or not, centralization is plays some very important role in ensuring security on our system and society, centralization still plays some important role in cutting out expenses in crypto, by helping us spend less in fees, like when we send funds like bitcoin to one another through centralized exchanges, it's completely free and very fast compared to when we are sending bitcoin to another person through the blockchain network.

Decentralization and centralization are both like cryptocurrencies and fiat money, both will co-exist for a very long time, and by this, I mean for generations to come.

I even believe that 90-95% of crypto investors today don't care about decentralization or privacy as much as they claim. All they care about is profit, cheap transaction fees, nothing more, and they are just trying to deny that.

Ripple is a highly centralized project and we can't warn enough to avoid Ripple at any cost. We have so much better and more decentralized coins at hand, why invest in such a shady fraud project like Ripple is. Ripple can be easily manipulated and it is highly relying on Ripple's core developers which are by Brad Garlinghouse involved in marketing fraud and similar shady staretgies to push Ripple.

Basically they invest (seek profit) the usual thing when they buy and then they sell in a period of time, aren't most of us here the same as them? buy bitcoin today and hope in the long term you can have enough retirement costs by investing in bitcoin?, in terms of the mindset mechanism (why should you buy bitcoin?) is the same only the time is different.

how to formulate a comparison depending on what you are looking for from that asset class, bitcoin or altcoin? ETH for example, why did you choose it, (why did they choose it?) why are there so many altcoins? because nothing is perfect in this blockchain world, be it Bitcoin, ETH and others, but the safest of that asset class is bitcoin, simply put if you don't want disappointment, then bitcoin has proven it repeatedly in the past decade.


No matter how hard we warn them when the brains of these Ripple worshipers have been washed, we can't do anything, meaning that the point of view is born from the performance of the brain/personality, therefore it is difficult for us to change when they have faith in something in their lives. I get it that there are users or cryptocurrency investors what wouldn’t mind when it’s got to do with altcoins mainly because, with altcoins, it’s about short term gains more often than none. Investors are always there, looking for small pumps so they can take profits and move to the next.

With Bitcoin, it’s a whole lot different because, this is an asset where you can hope to have it all there, your savings, long term investments and now, reserves for nations. It’s important that it’s decentralized so, you don’t get to hear it being taken over some day.

Agree with you that bitcoin will last long, is more reliable and is the best choice for privacy lovers. But saying that because altcoins are centralized, they cannot last long is not entirely true.


As you have admitted, only OG bitcoiners know the value of decentralization and very few people need privacy, mostly for money. That means centralization will not easily fail or disappear, especially when they are backed by governments or large organizations. If centralization were to easily disappear or fail, stock markets, ETFs or fiat currencies would not exist for hundreds of years with the trust of billions of people.

I am not invested in XRP but I don't think it will die and neither will many other altcoins. They are centralized but backed, used and supported by governments and centralized organizations.

To date, leading financial institutions such as Santander, American Express, Bank of America, Guggenheim Treasury Services (USA)...and many companies around the world are using XRP and RippleNet. Not to mention, there are reports that 10 governments are partnering with XRP to create CBDCs…or Blackrock has filed for XRP ETF.

For sure altcoin is not something anyone should look into as what they plan to hold for long time they are the real definition of short time investment and at same time quick money, (quick money in terms of making profit and also losing your invested capital it can all happen so quick with altcoin) if someone must deal with Altcoin they should treat it as something they just want to make profit and leave and not something for long term, bitcoin and other privacy coin like Monero is what I can consider to hold for long time.
