I am sure most of the movies will be released on youtube and similar services after festival is finished.
This are not big budget movies that are seen on notflix, it's mostly documentaries, shorter movies, AI videos, etc.

I'm a bit surprised to see so many films about Bitcoin. I never expected there to be such a surge of interest in Bitcoin, and I've previously watched a few documentaries of varying lengths that touched on issues directly related to Bitcoin.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to watch the film live, and I really hope it's of good quality, otherwise it won't be released on platforms. There may still be some hesitation from major film producers and screenwriters to support such a concept.

I believe this to be a majorly documentary about Bitcoin, and I must say that this fiilmfest would be a lot of fun to attend as lots of educational information would be released as it relates to Bitcoin's invention and many other discoveries that were related to Bitcoin's evolution. I would have loved to be a part of this festival, but doing so means a whole lot of budget running into millions in my local currency, and I just can not afford it right now. Maybe in the future, I will be able to do so, God willing.

Very nice to see somewhere is having a film festival for bitcoin as there are alot of movies about it in the past few year.

just recently watched one called Cold Wallet while lounging around looking for something to watch on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

It was quite bad and was mostly about stealing the bitcoins from a founder of an exchange that went belly up.
So hopefully these films have some other storylines that are alot more creative when it comes to this subject.

Bitcoin FilmFest in Warsaw Poland seems like fun event for people who like Bitcoin and movies. It is good that they are accepting Bitcoin payments including Lightning Network. Many sponsors and supporters including well known Bitcoin services are backing this event. If anyone like Bitcoin and movies this is chance to combine your interests. If anyone is planning trip to Europe this spring visiting Warsaw might be good idea. Bitcoin FilmFest could be great thing to add to trip letting meet people with similar interests and see city culture. Unfortunately I can not attend because I am not an European citizen. But if anyone going their or a citizen so he/she should visit. And also should share his/her experience here.

Wow this looks like fun! Do you have any idea if there will be vendors there or any special guest attendance or like a before or after party with the producers etc? Poland would surely be a fun place to go and make a trip for this. I wonder if this is an annual thing or if this is the first ever one.

Some of them are documentary, afaik, like the My Trust in You is Broken. I think it was released in 2024. It's understandable if there are no S-class actors if the goal isn't about making money from them.

Can you link the timestamp when it was stated? I don't think I recall hearing that from the short film, just the word "hold".
