Well, this has been a good topic and a lot of "What ifs" but I will ever goes back before, I will definitely just mine it as I would be a very young back then and don't have resources (money) to invest in Bitcoin and Altcoin and I will be one of the early adopters of the Bitcoin, though I was thinking I wouldn't be what I am today.

If I could go back or time travel with what I have now and go back for at least an hour, I would definitely buy as much Bitcoin as I can, lol.

Ugggggggh.  I'm of the age where just one do-over wouldn't be enough, assuming if I traveled back in time to a critical fork in the road that I didn't have the knowledge I have presently (but I guess that's the point, right?).  I've made so many mistakes in my life and missed so many opportunities that I'd have to go back to childhood to find such a branching pathway--one that would significantly improve the present-day me.

And I'm not even talking about anything in crypto, either.  That's how serious my fuck-ups have been.  If that do-over had to be related to bitcoin, well, let's just say that when I saw it selling for just under $200 I would have put everything I had into it and kept it.  I'd be a lying degenerate if I said that isn't a regret I think of more frequently than I should.  I remember when bitcoin faucets were numerous and paid what today would be an amazing amount in USD terms.  But nope, I always doubted that it'd ever get to $1k, $5k, $10k, etc., etc.

Somebody just take me out back and shoot me.

You are right, many of us do not have the chance to mine Bitcoin, and some individuals who also had the opportunity early Bitcoin never thought it would go to this point, but I am sure they would regret their actions when they failed to mine free bitcoin back then. While many of us hardly get access to the internet because we cannot afford a smartphone to find out what is going on.

Of course, it is impossible to go back to the past. I do not regret missing out on the opportunity when people were mining Bitcoin or had the money to invest early because we were never meant to be a part of it. Now that we know the benefits of Bitcoin, we have to decide for tomorrow, Bitcoin will remain my top choice and the best to buy and hold.

It's a cycle that will repeat itself over and over again.

And I don't want it's for the better or worse

Of course Bitcoin still have a very long way to go, so it's left for us to used what happened in the past as a lesson and do the needful things now. Because Bitcoin have a great future ahead, so there is no need for anyone to start worrying about Bitcoin, all our focus right now should be on accumulating as much as we can afford and hold for future purposes. However, just like as you have said I think it's essential for us to always understand that Bitcoin is more reliable than other cryptocurrencies.

Focusing on Bitcoin for me will do better than trying with Altcoins, so if I ha e such opportunity having seen now how well Bitcoin has gone to the point this amount it has attained over the years, in comparison to what will be achievable if I'm to restart, a good amount of profit that will help me a whole lot is what I'm definitely getting and so I will make sure not to get distracted by others coins around but systematically follow up with Bitcoin and make sure to apply proper investing strategy that's got a long term continue benefit.
