There is no doubt about the influence that Donald Trump has on the markets, and any mention of Bitcoin in his speech to mark his 100th day in office will surely trigger an effect, although it may not be as huge an effect as it used to be because I believe the market is no longer as responsive to him as before. We will see a move, likely, but not a huge one, I think.

Trump will mention Bitcoin and the crypto reserve in his speech.

He's the type of president that will blow his trumpet himself without waiting for anyone to do it for him. This could be the spark that bitcoin need for reach $100k and go above.

However will it be sustainable? Or is it going to be a short burst.i think that's what it is going to be a short burst.

I quickly check the market cap to see what happened to the market, but it seems nothing has changed, and it may very well have a delayed reaction in the market price.  It remains in the price range of $93k-$94k at this moment.
However, I agree that there could be a reaction, but I believe it's likely just a brief spike in the market price.

Since Trump has his memecoin, it significantly influences the entire crypto market, including Bitcoin.

I can't deny the impact Trump has had on the markets but with what happened with the tariff war. We still want him to continue to have more influence on the market?

As long as we keep waiting and relying on Trump's good words about bitcoin and seeing it as a catalyst for the market to rise, it will not be able to mature and will be manipulated more.

If an asset can only increase in price due to speeches or nod from a country's president, it will only be a speculative asset and will never be able to become a store of value and a safe haven. So let bitcoin grow naturally, stop pinning your faith and linking its growth to any particular politician or country.

TBH, I hate when a single person is manipulating the market. Yes, Trump isn't manipulating the market directly, but we as investors are reacting based on what a single person is saying. This is a perfect example of market manipulation.

What happened a few months ago where Bitcoin pumped and added ~$10,000 to its price in a single day then only to go back to where it is the day after is a perfect example of market manipulation and who's the culprit? Him. Well, if this is how investors are thinking then there's nothing that I can do, but to continue to hate, and wait until time will come where his statements will not affect Bitcoin and the crypto market at all.

As for his speech, I really do hope that it will have little to no effect towards Bitcoin, and other altcoins as well. I hope that investors are more intelligent now.

Anybody that is denying the influence that Trump's speech can have on Bitcoin price is not telling himself the truth. The events that concerns Trump, and it's effect on price cannot be overlooked, from his presidential campaigns till the recent tariff pause. I have no doubt that his speech will impact Bitcoin price either negatively or positively, price cannot remain what we're seeing now. Traders will be waiting for the outcome of the news whether to buy or dump their Bitcoin. I personally don't like how Trump's influence can manipulate the market but there's nothing I or any investors can do about it

Well, you called it Rumour, I think it will remain as such. Nothing has been done in respect to crypto since Trump took office and I don't think anything will happen now. This guy is a fake crypto person, he was only looking for the opportunity to be more popular from crypto and also gained from it. And he achieved them both.

Yeah, Trump is the US president and also the president people view as a crypto-person, so his words in favour of the crypto world will be a positive reaction for the market. But the Trump you know now, does he look like someone who is ready for crypto?

Trump is influential man so there's no doubt that he can create a spark on Bitcoin if he include it on his speech, we know how manipulation works and provably lots of people would gonna buy what he say.

But don't expect the effect will go for long term since same with other scenery there's always a correction will happen after the hype subsides.

As you have said I guess we should watch what's going to happen since its early to tell about possible out come on that event and let see what Trump would able to say about Bitcoin since for sure many people also curious to know what he want to say on his first 100 days speech.

That's why they are called as such They would do that with or without Trump, or due to any other words said in the same manner - the point is, we don't need to look at Trump that much to proceed forward with hodling.

I think the news from Bitfinex is all speculation, don't count on it.

I am waiting for something though, yes the reserve will have another positive move on the market but do you guys think there is something better than the money printing?  Because I don't think there is.
