I think it turned out that enough bitcoiners who are also interested in  ordinal/runes/spam don't want to do a number 2 where they eat, so they aren't participating so much.

This may also be the case for possible op_return increase changes. But on the other hand having said that, I suppose if you get rid of guns people would still kill each other, but you'd probably filter it down to only the most determined.

As I recall last year the hype was still so thick, and there were many projects holding many events there, making many people enthusiastic to participate, and what I saw was because of the many airdrop events that took place at that time. But it only took about a year for the hype to disappear, and I never even saw any more events, or maybe I was the one who was not up to date, but if it was still hype or available, then some people in the crypto-related community should be talking about it, especially at events.

In addition, I saw many projects related to it experiencing a decrease in price, either in the token inscription they developed, or even in the existing nft. So I think that makes the market divert its attention to others. Because we know that many enthusiasts are more interested in projects that hold events, so that creates its own hype, and that's like the power of the community.
