I guess that exists but we don't know for sure. We can just see the big wall available in the order buy and sell to hold the price not increase or decrease deeper. I only know if there is a demand or supply with a big amount of Bitcoin, that will hold the price so that it will not increase or decrease or that it will take some time to fill. We don't have to think hard about that and enjoy the price movement. If the price increases or decreases, so be it and we should take the benefit for ourselves.

Given how volatile Bitcoin price when it comes to news I think its highly possible to manipulate the price by a group of people with influence globally.

CZ, Trump, Saylor and many more are good candidate for this price manipulation because their words was valued by the majority of crypto holder that trading with the news.

Even a worthless meme coin of Trump and his first lady manage to amassed a huge funding just because they promote. Thats how shallow people in crypto nowadays when it comes to trading.

It is something thats already happening for a long time in the market, so it is not a word of something possible based on how I have seen a lot of KOLs that manipulate the price of the market using their influencer power.

An example is Elon, whose tweet will pump the price of the memecoin he tweeted. Another one is Trump using the tariff battle to manipulate the market, and a lot of investors who are close to him made billions off the market, according to a YouTube video I watched weeks ago.

Having said that, another thing we should be scared of in terms of market manipulation/price control is BlackRock and others thats are in the crypto market, which are already known for making a profit out of the stock market, and can do anything to achieve the needed profit.

The Bitcoin market is controled by demand and supply, and when some group of billionaires decide to create demand by acquiring Bitcoin worth of 1 or 2 billion dollars and above, of course this will have an impact in the market, increasing Bitcoin growth by adding liquidity. regular traders or investors will be moved to buy Bitcoin following the surge in Bitcoin price and that will automatically increase demand generally and if supply is low then Bitcoin is said to be controlled by this whales at this point in time.

Control is not the right word to use, if there are people who control the price of BTC, they would be able to do anything they want to do with the price of BTC, but that is not the case. I believe the right word is manipulation, because there are so many weak hands, it is possible for people to even manipulate the price of BTC by just spreading fud.

However, it is difficult for one individual or institution to manipulate the price of BTC for so long, it becomes ineffective after sometime.

Bitcoin moving from $90k to $100k or above does not mean that it is regulated. These are small margins that small sentiment can influence even without some particular whales having a renounced influence on the market.

Whales have the ability of influencing the market and they sometimes make buy decisions that influence the market but it's not all that renounced because all of them don't make their buy or sale decision at the same time. If it was something that's more like a union of whales deciding to make their buy or sale decision at a time, then certainly, their influence on the market would have made the volatility of bitcoin to be very much predictable.

Bitcoin is not any random altcoin that can be easily manipulated by individuals but yet sometimes investors that possesses large amount of Bitcoin often referred to as whales can also cause the market to shake a little but that would not last for a very long time before the market will correct those imbalances. The example about tweet is part of it but most of the time, it usually comes up as news, for example some of the organization or company that hold those large amount can pay the media to publish a false news of sell or they could just move a large amount from one wallet to another it could cause sell panic or buy panic fomo and cause price to be driven up or down but after a short period, the price can correct again.

I believe that whomever wants to control the price of bitcoin will only do that within a short period of time and nothing more. So if whales are using their tools to keep their price down in order for them to buy more Bitcoin at a cheaper rate is because weak hands and traders will always sell in panic. Donald Trump tarrif increase only affected the market temporarily. He knows that he is bitting more than what he can chew and that was why he suspended the tariff increment for three months.

Thats not unlikely. There are many btc whales that can affect the markets but ever since btcs ETF approval, I believe the power shifted from whales to wallstreet (blackrock) mostly. Thats probably the reason why btc acts similar to the NASDAQ. It is because people who have control over the Nasdaq, also have the power to determine the bitcoin prices. Thats a very popular opinion lately but it is hard to prove it. Blackrock and binance are both the big players and they have the power to move the prices. I know that much at least.

That's how this is done. You get a front man to influence the masses and do exactly the opposite in the shadows.

The major exchanges and financial institutions that hold a ton of crypto have enough market power to really move prices, no doubt. They cant just pick a price out of thin air, but when they make those monster trades, it creates ripples everyone else responds to. So while they dont have direct control their impact is massive.

I mean, companies as huge as Binance or BlackRock doing their thing is gonna make waves and not necessarily setting prices at will, but the volumes they work with are so massive that the rest of the market follows whatever currents they stir up. Definite ability to sway price action their way instead of outright control. And with how BTC has mirrored the stock market moods, reasonable to believe the big money players are getting a louder voice.

I think what we see here is how people could be taken to other persons for several reasons. Trump is a figure of authority all over the world given that, he stands as the president of the world power, the US. Its not hard to find people take to his world.

If he advices that people should Buy Bitcoin today, you would find a lot of persons rushing to buy and should he say otherwise, you would find people rushing to sell as well. Thats not actually manipulating the price but rather, creating a sentiment or manipulating the minds of people who doesnt entirely rely on their own opinions or words for an investment advice.

These guys create the sentiments and we take it up from there.

There is no one controlling it, but due to the open source nature of bitcoin
there will always be those who attempt to seize control or sabotage it from
within, to turn it into another garbage VC token like solana or ethereum.
Again due to the open source nature of bitcoin this kind of thing can be expected.

Bitcoin developers or devs have always been the weakest link IMO. Because as humans they can be exploited,
corrupted, bribed, threatened, manipulated, etc. One or more devs themselves could be a bad actor.
Shitcoiners disguised as bitcoiners. So in that sense bitcoin has always been at war with itself to prevent the bad actors from taking over.
Fortunately anyone running a bitcoin node can reject their bullshit by simply not running anything they attempt to put out.

At the moment, bitcoin node runners are beginning to switch over from Bitcoin Core to Bitcoin Knots en masse,
as the former appears to have been infiltrated by shitcoiners.

This was in the past, but today I believe manipulating the price of Bitcoin has become extremely difficult. Yes, in the past, when Elon Musk tweeted about the possibility of Tesla accepting Bitcoin payments, the price of Bitcoin skyrocketed, then fell again..

But today, with Bitcoin surpassing the $100K barrier, whales need billions of dollars to be able to manipulate the market. We're not saying it's impossible, but it's difficult. If there are whales or organizations that own large amounts of Bitcoin or cash, they are certainly capable of manipulating the price of Bitcoin, just as they manipulate global stock exchanges.
