I have never seen numbers how many tesla vehicles were purchased with bitcoin, and reason for that I think is because paying in bitcoin wasnt most popular payment option. As this option to pay in bitcoin was available only in US, and people prefer to buy things on a credit there, paying full price in bitcoin wasnt very popular imo. If something isnt demanded, then why return that?

You seem to have woken up from a very long hibernation and are amazed at something that has been a fact for years. Smart people who understood what he was doing stopped listening to him a long time ago - and besides, any connection he has with BTC is only negative for it - so the best thing that can happen to all of us is that he and his ilk don't mention BTC at all.

Besides, people don't want to spend their BTC on such expensive things, so I don't see why accepting BTC as a payment option would bring any benefits for that company. Maybe the situation in the US is different, but here in the EU, lately I see the most advertisements for Chinese vehicles, which look very attractive, and are also much cheaper than their vehicles.

That article came out Jan. 2024 so by now could be close to 60% or more sustainable energy use.

At the time I was planning to use some of my gains from bitcoin to buy my first Tesla but since that awful day
happened would never consider buying a Tesla again. Tesla sales tanked 70% last month so I think if Musk was smart
maybe now would be a good time to restore bitcoin payments to help boost tanking sales at a time when the company
could really use it, and bring back support from the bitcoin community.

But Musk is too preoccupied with his DOGE political BS to do anything useful for his sinking ship company.
And this clown wanted Tesla shareholders to give him a $50 billion compensation package??

Tesla bought about 43kBTC in 2021 at an average price of around $35,000. Then they start selling 10% of their BTC at the end of 2021 and over 75% at the beginning of 2022. Currently, according to reports from reliable sources, Tesla is still holding over 11kBTC, they did not sell all bitcoins as you said.

Not only Elon, we should not completely trust and put our expectations on anyone, including Trump or Saylor, because their ultimate goal when participating in the market is also profit. They are not here to do charity or become bitcoin heroes as they claim to be.

You can probably count the units sold with Bitcoin payments with one hand. First off, Bitcoin remains unpopular as a payment option, for a number of reasons. Secondly, Bitcoin was only accepted as payment for weeks only.

I guess it's not the demand. It's merely the thought that Bitcoin is popular, and that it is indeed money, because it's accepted as payment by the popular Tesla. In other words, it's the promotion that counts.
