Hello,
I've heard several times that when Bitcoin matures, its volatility will have decreased, but therefore, potentially, its appeal will also decrease, as it will no longer represent a get-rich-quick opportunity.
So, what do you think could continue to generate support?
We could bet on the inflation of fiat currencies or the desire for emancipation, but I'm not sure that's enough.
Personally, I live in France, and here I regularly hear a little worrying music.
[snip] Governments are making great strides to control our spending and our money, and in doing so, are promoting Bitcoin.
What do you think?
Bitcoin is not a pot of gold and shouldn't be considered a get rich quick opportunity. Yes, it presents a beneficial opportunity, but we shouldnt ignore its disadvantage and choose to over hype Bitcoin because this has led to the misconception of alot of newbies about Bitcoin as an investment.
Yes, you're right about this, but the government not only promotes the use of Bitcoin as a solution through the institutional banking restriction, daily spending quotas, a long process if you want to withdraw huge funds, and its level of control over people's funds. They also promote the use of Bitcoin through their selfish printing of fiat currency, which is causing inflation, and I could remember years ago, this was the number one reason people started seeing Bitcoin as the solution.
