It's not possible for Bitcoin ATM to be in all cities because bitcoin isn't fiat and the cost is expensive. People who loves privacy will definitely not use bitcoin ATM because they can be target to criminals from the ATM machine when they are using it. We have seen alot of attack on crypto holders recently and it's good to stay safe.

It's actually completely normal that there are and will be cities with no bitcoin ATMs, just as there are cities with no Internet, or no ATMs.

Are you aware that the first fiat ATM in Somalia was placed in 2015? That's 5 years after bitcoin was invented and 2 years after the first bitcoin ATMs were made!
Imagine that they were invented in 1967 and in the 80s several companies were producing them, but from that point it took whole 35 years for the first machine to reach Somalia. It's going to be the same with bitcoin, with a difference that in some countries like China it's still banned, so don't expect any ATMs there.

I believe everything is possible to happen as far as the technology is concerned, and the internet still exists in every city. Since there are a lot of cities that are using bitcoins, the ATM might be available. Because even in terms of the transaction, it is very fast without spending much of the charges, and according to some of the people, Bitcoin ATM is already available for cities. I will not disagree with them.

Because it’s possible to happened since everything works in a gradual process, maybe it’s just a few countries that are using it for now; that’s why we never know about it, but even though the Bitcoin ATM is available today, there will still be some cities that will not know about it because it will not reach some countries the same way the internet works, and there are some of the cities that didn’t know anything about it.

I think your question is not complete, because if your question is complete I will know if you are talking about if ATM is across every cities if we are not going to exchange in exchange platforms again, so that's what I want to know, for what I have heard from people who used Bitcoin ATM machine, the machine doesn't dispense a traditional currency, only what it doe's is to be use for bitcoin transfer from your bank to another wallet, I have never heard that with bitcoin ATM machine you can exchange your bitcoin to a traditional currency

Lately, I have seen lots of people, especially newbies, talking about Bitcoin ATMs like they are one of the best things that have happened to Bitcoin. I want to correct that impression they already have. Anyone who cares about their privacy and security should avoid Bitcoin ATMs because, with them, personal details are not safe, including the risk of physical theft. In terms of transaction fees, they are way too outrageous. Bitcoin ATMs contradict what Bitcoin stands for. If these newbies truly understood what it is, they would not embrace it.

I think that's not the main reason IMO.
It also depends on the regulations surrounding crypto in the city, different cities or countries have different rules regarding it.  Another reason could be that purchasing, installing, and operating Bitcoin ATMs is costly.  If a city can't generate enough transactions, operators will be reluctant to invest there.

I also prefer to see the growth of Bitcoin payment acceptance over Bitcoin ATMs.
Buying Bitcoin from an ATM is quite expensive due to the fees, which are far different from exchange rates.

Bitcoin ATM is operating in many cities, we had two in my country but it has stopped operation, maybe due to unfriendly behavior of the present govern in my country towards cryptocurrency exchanges like Binance and others. For other countries, Bitcoin ATM still exist and in operation but I have heard rumor that Bitcoin ATM was a failed project. I don't know what the reason of such people are but I noticed the hype about Bitcoin ATM seems to be dying which makes me think in the direction of people who  feel that Bitcoin ATM has some challenges that threatens its feasibility and acceptance.

Nothing is impossible but I don’t think that is ever going to happen because for Bitcoin ATM machine to be placed on a city bitcoin need to be legal and approved in that country which no matter how popular bitcoin becomes not all country will want to make it or consider it to be legal so they won’t allow it to be mounted in their city.

Another thing again is due to the high price and fee which this bitcoin ATM and its providers charges many will not want to make use of it unless for those who are lazy and consider exchange to be hard to use that will make use of it. And if your idea or attention is to how exchanges will be like be Bitcoin ATM popularity increases it won’t have any much effect on exchanges.

Currently in my city there is a  bitcoin machine or ATM that is in place but only for bitcoin not from bitcoin to our money or currency, I always look at the Machine but there is no one trying to use it, maybe because some comfortable using their wallet to transfer bitcoin to an exchange which they can use for p2p transactions, instead of going to the ATM make a transaction.
