With all of Trumps involvement, I expected a clear regulatory roadmap for cryptocurrency by now, at least something tangible we could rely on. All we saw were price manipulations that came as bull runs or dips, which only lasted temporarily. We need more than just price movements and adoption.
What do we need? I think what most people need is a rise in bitcoin price, nothing more.
I am not defending Trump and agree with you that Trump is manipulating the market, but we cannot deny that he has fulfilled most of his campaign promises regarding bitcoin. From releasing Ross Ulbricht, removing harsh crypto regulations or creating a bitcoin reserve...He kept his promise but most people were not satisfied and continued to complain, simply because prices did not increase as they expected.
Adoption is not complete if we cannot carry out transactions legally with Bitcoin and if people still continue to reject the use of Bitcoin as a payment method.
To me, this is a somewhat greedy request. Bitcoin cannot become a currency or cannot be used as a popular payment method not only because the government does not allow it but also because bitcoin investors like us do not want to use it. Most people just want to hold it and get rich from it, not many people want to spend it, we should admit that fact, don't blame all the government.
