Yep, their effect overall - is a positive one I would say, more trust, more bigger players going in, - and more interesting times ahead of us, that's for sure

They offer people alternative ways to join the community, to get exposure to Bitcoin.

They're contributing to the price because they're catering to a demand coming from a certain market. Such market couldn't have been taken advantage of without these financial products.

Much of the mainstream society is comfortable only in what they're familiar about. Bitcoin must be strange to many of them. It's a breakthrough which many might not be too comfortable with. But offered in an ETF, a product they're already familiar, from a familiar and trusted institution, they're likely willing to join. That's what happened. That's how Bitcoin and a mainstream market are bridged together.

For example, to transport $5 million worth of gold, you need trucks, security, and logistics  but with Bitcoin, you can send it with a single click for just a few cents.

Another important point: Bitcoin is easy to audit. Anyone can post an address and prove they own a specific amount of Bitcoin. But how can anyone prove how much gold is really in the vaults? No one knows for sure  that’s why paper gold can circulate far beyond the actual physical supply.They can't control Bitcoin itself, but they can control the exchange rate , and that's exactly why they created the ETF.

I am in favor of using non-custodial wallets because we have full control over our bitcoins but that doesn't mean investing through bitcoin ETFs is unsafe. If you look at the money flowing into bitcoin through ETFs as well as the amount of bitcoin these funds hold, you will see that hundreds of millions of dollars a day and billions of dollars are flowing into bitcoin. I don't think rich people who are spending billions of dollars don't know what they are doing, where their money is and whether it is safe...

So in my opinion, Bitcoin ETF is safe and people who are not confident or do not want to hold bitcoin themselves can invest through ETF.

For this season, we can't deny the numerous impacts of bitcoin ETF bestowed upon the bitcoin market price performance, then going further to after the all time high has been achieved, we are also having a number of adoption from institutions and government corporations towards bitcoin national reserve, which makes me to believe that anything could happen to make bitcoin make all time high or go into bullrun.

The adoption by world giant public companies such as Blackrock through its Bitcoin ETF always has a quite positive impact on market sentiment. Because with the entry of larger institutions it is hoped that bitcoin will be better known and there will also be more people accumulating bitcoin. Even Blackrock itself, through its bitcoin ETF, has now accumulated a very large number of bitcoins, even surpassing that of the public company Microstrategy.

The number of bitcoins currently owned by iShares Bitcoin Trust (Blackrock) is 683,017.5 Bitcoins. With their last purchase this month, namely June 18 2025, amounting to 2,680.7 bitcoins. Blackrock has a very high speed of bitcoin accumulation.

Bitcoin ETFs has made the sceptical people see bitcoin as a good asset to invest in because they have made bitcoin look like fiat where you buy and keep it in the custody of a third party. It's increasing the adoption rate but I must tell you that these investors buying bitcoin from ETFs are not real holders because they are not buying real bitcoin.

All these centralized entities are not supporting the decentralized nature of bitcoin but using it for business since a lot of people currently see bitcoin as an asset instead of a decentralized currency. Only people who have their bitcoin in a nonustodial wallets are holding real bitcoin.

Institutional investors in Bitcoin contributed to the increase in the price of Bitcoin from last year. As they accumulate the market reacts positively in some cases. Since Bitcoin has no central authority,  it will be difficult to see any organisation promoting Bitcoin without any ulterior motives. They might use Bitcoin to attract investors or customers to their platforms.  Although these adverts might not be proper since they encourage people to use centralized platforms.  But they are also indirectly promoting Bitcoin awareness and adoption.  Some people might never have known about Bitcoin without Spot Bitcoin ETF.

The question about the duration of the plans of these Institutional investors can only be answered by the company's representatives. Nobody knows how these films will react during the bear market. Maybe checking these institutions investment plans might be helpful in determining how long they intend to hodl their Bitcoins.
